And thats not a knock on him as a person, because I used to hate him, but that's evolved into a strong dislike

I just can't see him having the hand eye coordination and advanced motor skills required to be even moderately proficient in this setting

suffered from the effects of lag for most of the night (being a second or two behind other players and not killing them after shooting off a clip) so I called it quits pretty early. I think something might be up with my internet connection.

Can you not play the campaign on split screen co-op? The only co-op shit I've seen is the challenge missions and playing FFA type stuff offline.

There is no campaign co-op. The spec ops are all playable on co-op (some only so) and go through most of the campaign. There are 23 (I think) spec ops missions. They are pretty fun, I've liked going through them with different people. I think I'm up to like 90% completion on them (some are pretty hard on veteran).

i keep getting the error window that it did not properly shutdown/quit correctly and asks if i want to start up in safe mode or not or cancel.

if i click yes, everything of course blows up because the resolution changed. but it does the same thing as not starting up in safe mode. and that is that the main logo comes up with the guy and his gun and the title (which takes up a portion of the screen) but instead of then going into the games intro, a black square takes up the bottom right portion of the screen. so it pretty much freezes like that but i can still do other things. ive tried a few trouble shooting things but nothing seems to work.

anyone have any comments?
