lol gottfried is not going anywhere. he sees the opportunity we have here. he has a close knit relationship with debbie yow and he isn't going to screw her over like that. more importantly, he knows what the importance of basketball is in this area and he likes the challenge and opportunity to return NC State to greatness. he already did it at UCLA, albeit as an an assistant. it's time to do it here now.

I know UCLA won a title in 95 and has made a couple Final Fours since then, and have the most titles of all time

but in another sense, they are similar to us in that they haven't really been a relevant program since the 1970s...again, I know they won a shitload of titles and have been more successful than us lately

but they have been pretty bad the last few years, its not the job it was 10 years ago
