Biden looked like a fool. Warren and Sanders said their normal stuff. Bootyitch said stuff that sounded good but was hollow. Klobachar(sp?) said her normal middle of the road stuff. Yang did his thing, same with Gabbard. Steyer bought his way in. Booker seemed steady, but not winning the night. Harris was same old bland.

i've been texting with a dem fundraising connection and they didn't think biden did as poorly as i thought he did, he's still their top pick but i think that's more because they don't like anyone else not because they really like biden. they've been very impressed with buttigieg, they just don't think he has enough experience. they had previously written off harris after meeting her, but said they liked her last night for attacking tulsi as a fox news talking head. Klobuchar is who surprised them the most, his wife really liked her last night.

Ok yeah it was a dumb tweet. The point I was trying to make while drunk watching the awful debate is that there is an obvious double standard they're pulling with Tulsi/Assad. If you want to talk about her cozying up with war criminals and dictators (rather than just opening a dialogue), talk about her weird relationship with Modi. But wait, other Democrats are friendly with Modi, despite the ongoing genocide in Kashmir. Kerry and Obama met with MBS after he began committing genocide in Yemen. Democrats regularly meet with Netanyahu despite his treatment of Palestinians.

And on the other side of things: Rojava has been asking for a dialogue with Assad for years, but the US won't allow it. South Koreans have wanted a dialogue with North Korea for years, but the US wouldn't allow it. Are they also trying to cozy up with dictators?

Tulsi is bad for a lot of reasons but she's brought two good points to the debates

1) We should keep an open dialogue with bad leaders, because the alternative is worse.

2) We should not fuel civil wars by shipping weapons to various groups of rebels.

Tulsi needs 1 more qualifying poll and only 3k more donors to hit the 200k donors requirement before the Dec 12 deadline. I think she'll make it.

I totally get it man. You make a great point but there are a lot of really important people here who think certain takes that make them angry, are crafted specifically with the intention of making them angry because no one could possibly hold a genuine belief that they disagree with.

Its the same people who think anyone who wasn't in love with Hillary is a Russian spy or the victim of the Kremlin.

Posting tweets from verified accounts is a good way to show these people that these takes are actually out there and aren't as fringe as they hope they are.
