Good regular season. That awful GT resume killing loss is what's separating us from the NCAA tourney. Need to not have those going forward..

Both the GT and FSU games we were not really "in" the game. We never got much closer than like 7 in the 2nd half in either game.

If we just had a little more depth this season, we could have closed out wins against IU, Stanford, UVa, and Duke and would be sitting pretty. Oh well, still happy with what Gott has been able to do in his first season.

The only reason anyone could realistically be disappointed with this season is how close we were to having an even better season. IU, Stanford, Duke, UVA, Clemson, the wtf GT loss. Win any 3 of those and we'd be safely in the tournament. Other than that, we should all be thrilled. Compared to the last 5 years, we actually look like a semi-professional basketball team out there. Our losses were mostly due to correctable dumb basketball, NC State shit, and a lack of depth/experience. Credible. as. fuck.

Vanderbilt, clemson, stanford, uva, duke were all bad games for us.

All because of our hilariously bad 3 point defense, and the fact that vandy, clemson, and stanford are legitimately shitty teams.

it's only those games because it's only those games. those are our only BAD games. there are other games we had excellent opportunities to win, but failed to do so. that is still a WAY better situation than playing so poorly that you're never in the game at all.

vandy is not a shitty team, and we were also missing scott wood that game. although i know most of you want him benched, so maybe that was actually an advantage for us that he didn't play.

clemson we lost in OT. it was a painful loss but it wasn't a BAD one. it's on the road and came down to the last second.

we played a great game against duke, we just ran out of players. should you be able to hang onto a 20 point lead with 11 minutes left? damn right you should, but our bench can't do that against the 2nd best team in the conference. we have no depth. not a bad loss, just a really fucking painful one.

i stand by my statement that those 3 games were our only truly bad games all year.
