Find it interesting that Kansas fills out their roster today and within an hour or two Thomas Allen commits to Nebraska.

Guess Self fed him a bunch of BS to keep him as back-up option. Oh well, just glad he didn't end up at another ACC team.

Keatts is just making up for missed time and offering a bunch of highly rated guys. We did the same thing with Gott and cast a wide net and then narrowed it down based on feedback.

Keatts seems to be getting positive reviews from these highly ranked kids we're offering, so that's a good sign. Hopefully we aren't too late to the party for most of the 2018 kids.

If you include Yurt, Kapita, Batts and Al Freeman, we have 11 scholly players. I think we can have 13. Grad transfers are "free" especially for a new coach that doesn't have to worry about promises made to players already on roster.

Also Henderson could get his 6th year and grad transfer, I think.

Kirk was very pro-Keatts and interviewed saying he did a lot to talk him up to the rest of the guys. Nard is very excited and outspoken about his senior year. Abu didn't even test the waters and Keatts has said he's going to be a monster (i.e. highly utilized) in the offense this year.

I can see Yurtseven going to Europe and possibly also due to the shit going on in Turkey right now might want to get paid and get his family out.

Kapita has just been ultra quiet about everything so it wouldn't surprise me if he left but we did a lot to get his visa status straight so it might not be worth the hassle even if he did want to leave.

Markell has had rumors about homesickness, grades, etc. swirling around about him. We'll just never know until we know.

James Henderson has said that within 2 weeks of final grades posting we should hear if there is any more attrition.

Seems like the Yurt deal is more, if any team says they're likely to draft him in either the 1st or the 2nd, he's gone.

If he doesn't get at least some type of "assurance" he's going to get picked, I think he'll return. He doesn't seem to have any interest in going international.

Have a feeling he'll enter draft after some empty assurance is made, not get drafted, and end up having to go International anyway.
