ok; why are there so many seemingly roadworthy trucks on CL for <$1,000 (I just don't know the difference)?

I want something that can be my weekend truck to Lowe's, etc., so at least somewhat roadworthy.

Going to put up my 2000 Honda Accord v6 coupe. Just under 240k on the odometer and is still my wife's daily driver. Exterior/interior are fair for a nearly 15 year old car. CEL is on and I will run the codes later. $2500 firm. I can provide ISO and carfax on same.

dunno, but I would be suspect of the condition of the drivetrain. you could probably get a beat to shit I6 F150 from the early 90's for that price range

Long shot on here... but:

2007 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab, 2x4, Red, V4, 5 spd manual, toolbox, am/fm/cd, ac, 233,xxx miles, manual locks, manual windows, tires low but still have tread, clutch feels good, steering is good, alignment needed with new tires, bedliner, rubber floormats, owner's manual. Asking $4,250, and getting hits close to that on CL. averages 20mpg

If that was a 4 door crew cab, i'd likely make an offer.

I like how it's called a Colorado and it's a 2x4. Driving up 70 half the vehicles that get stuck and can't make it up the hill when there's snow on the highway are the 2x4 pickup trucks who neglected to put any weight in the bed or get winter tires.

Is it actually a V4? I thought that configuration died out years ago, but then again they also put an I5 in these things, so who knows what other oddities Chevy might have used. Also 233K miles in 7 years...damn you drive a lot.

^^yeah that's all i could think of.

It's not a V4, Chevy doesn't make one. I thought all Colorados had inline 5s?

nah, it's their inline modular series

I4, 5 & 6 - 4&5 are in the lolorado, the 6 is in the trailblazer.

so what's going on with all the cars on CL with no title? people just not registering them after buying?

And yes the colorado was an I4; old habits of typing V# die hard.
