I dont think Oaklands D is that bad of a deal

Romo is a consistent one..>bulger is struggling with team problems and drops by his big timers...

thats a tough call actually but Id go with Romo they wanna answer last weeks terrible outing although they may run it alot

tough call dude, really...

I need to pick three WRs:

Reggie Wayne vs Cin
Mark Clayton vs Cle
Cotchery vs Min
Donte Stallworth vs NYG

Is Stallworth worth playing? I don't have much confidence in Garcia.

I would play wayne and cotchery no doubt

Clayton is probably a better bet because Clev's defense is pretty weak

NYG is somewhat decent and Garcia wont be throwing more than 200 yards (give or take)

i just have a bad feeling about mcgahee vs MIA and denver @ ARI. i was gonna start mcgahee vs MIA and DEN @ ARI, but dont want my RB going against my DEF (especially dont want to sit miami defense).

i'm gonna start MIA defense and either fargas vs STL (horrible against the run) or arlen harris against GB. two sleeper picks, which one will step up today?

Damn. After winning 10 straight this year, I think my season is about done.

I'm down one point with Kennison left. My opponent has Peyton and Gates.

I'll probably lose by about 40. THANK YOU BREES YOU PIECE OF SHIT.

McNair over Vick cost me my season.

Oh well, made a good run. I feel like the Colts. Went 11-2 in the regular season just to get a BYE and then lose the first game, haha.

The only way I'm winning is if LT gets about 5 TD's and 200+ yards, haha.

hey what do you guys think?

Its going to be close and I have LT left to play

Do you think I should play him or Addai? The reason I ask is because I am worried that LT will get benched halfway through the game and I will be screwed

well if everyone else is going down, i'll provide the good news. i started NE over Miami at DEF, and they rolled, which sets me up well. Everyone else on my team is getting me enough. I was also playing against Chicago's D, and they didn't blow anyone away, so as of right now I am leading 105-65 with LT and Vinateri left and my opponent has Manning and Wayne.

It's possible, but for his tandem to outscore mine by 45 points would be obscene. Considering LT has been going off, I am pretty confident.

So, after tonight's game, I should be a lock for the finals.

__________________

^if you bench LT you deserve to lose. as long as no one has home field advantage locked up, he'll be playing, and right now it's too close, especially with indy playing tomorrow. if you've been paying attention, you noticed that turner has not been getting the garbage time much lately, they've been taking LT until the end.

my best decision of the season was dropping randy mcmichael for vernon davis which baited my opponent to pick up mcmichael and start him over desmond clark...it will still be a close matchup most likely, but that helped me a ton

My best decision was suckering a guy in my league to making this trade, lol.

I give up:
Jake Delhomme (this was the reason, he WAS a huge Delhomme fan)
Tatum Bell (note, not starter at the beginning of the season when this was made)
TO

I get:
Donovan McNabb (haha)
Steven Jackson (he didn't think he'd be that good this year, lol)
Randy Moss (meh, he wanted TO and I couldn't get Housh off of him, lol)

But of course, I lost McNabb(2 years in a row) and then I lost Leftwich as well, lol.

I've lost at least 2 QB's to season-ending injuries 2 years in a row now.

my two best waiver moves of the year i would say were picking up colston in either week 2 or 3, can't remember, and then also getting the NE and Miami defenses late in the season off waivers.

4 teams, 2 finals.

Team Rank Score Comment
Facetious Ferrets 1/8 135-80 Great semis, but my players don't have great matchups next week.
Unstable Isotopes 4/10 56-83 Not enough td's. Was #2, now playing #1 seed for 3rd place.
Tropically Depressed 2/6 252.18-211.56 It's go time.
Ravaging Storms 9/10 n/a I'm not picking you next year, Brady.

How's Vick looking for next week?

Damn, that's right. I watched Vick get hurt. To the last two people, watch the injury report on Vick. If he isn't too dinged up, then play him.

^Right now, Grossman doesn't look too bad. He had 4 TDs last time he played the Lions.

I'm rolling into my finals in good shape. My opponent has Willie Parker and the Baltimore defense, and so he can't start them both or he negates his own points. He's starting the Philly defense which works out great for me. I have Big Ben, and considering the Ravens run D, he may get a decent number of points for me. The only thing he has as a real threat is Brees, but against the Giants I think he may have an average day.

I'm hoping LT will see me through to the end.

I have made it into the championship game

I need to make some decisions here

Favre vs MIN, Rivers vs SEA, and Romo vs PHI - pick 2

A. Johnson vs IND, L.Fitz vs SF, Roy Williams vs CHI, M.Booker vs NYJ - pick 1

C. Taylor vs GB or T. Henry vs BUF - pick 1

Colston vs DAL, Gates vs SEA, Crumpler vs CAR - pick 2

DEF - NE vs JAC, SEA vs SD, or MIN vs GB pick 1

I am thinkin Fitz vs SF, Taylor, Gates and Colston, and NE

Panthro, you need to participate in this thread more

rivers - has a lot to prove this week
romo - looked good this week and i don't trust favre against minn's pass def
fitz - should fare well against sf
henry - taylor has been questionable all year
colston - brees will have a big rebound game
crumpler - always huge against carolina and if vick is out he'll get double the touches

My picks:

Rivers & Romo (Cowboys play Eagles, not NO) (I fear Favre will stink it up. You never know.)

L. Fitzgerald (He's playing SF, and SF is 27th against the pass)

T. Henry (I don't trust Taylor)

Colston & Crumpler (I think Crumpler is going to score at least twice against CAR, Colston is going to get the ball more than Gates.)

NE DEF (Patriots + December = Bad combo for opposing teams)

i refer back to the first question about LT....they are still fighting for home field advantage throughout. they are one game ahead of the ravens, but the ravens have the tiebreaker, so they have strong incentive to win both of their last games. even with this week's game he was in until almost the last play, well after it was decided.

And my opinions....

QB

WHO TO START

Romo - This one is the easiest of all 3 choices. He is playing well, and will be playing in a game that is likely to be a high scoring affair. 2 TD's. 250 yards. Easy.

Favre - I know its out on a limb, but I have a great feeling about Favre this week. If this is his last season, which it may very well be, this will be his last game at Lambeau. You cant run on The Vikings, so Favre is going to throw at least 50 times. He will defintiely throw 2 picks, but I also believe you can add 325yds and 2 TD's to that stat line.

WHO TO BENCH

Rivers - He hasnt been playing great lately...to say the least. Compound that with the fact that they will be playing in Seattle, which has been brutal to opposing (and home) QB's in the past few weeks because of the wind and rain, I see this as another showcase of "Everyone suck LT's Dick". I dont trust Rivers this week.

WR

WHO TO START

Fitzgerald - without a doubt Lienart's favorite target since he has come back from the hammy injury. SF sucks against the pass, and Fitz had 8 catches for 130 yards last time they met.

WHO TO BENCH

Johnson - he has played well against the Colts, going for 60 and a TD last time they played, but he has been plagued by inconsistency in the past few weeks. He is a high risk, high reward start. You cant do that in the finals.

Booker - injury forced him out of last weeks game in the 1st quarter. He didnt return, and he shouldnt return to your lineup until he can prove he is healthy.

Roy Williams - I bet he will be so close to scoring 40 points this week, it will be crazy. LOL. That was from his earlier game vs the Bears this season. I didnt forget how he bad mouthed thier secondary, The Bears didnt either. He won't do shit.

RB

WHO TO START/WHO TO BENCH

WOW, this one is a toughy. Both left last weekends games with apparent injuries, and didnt return. Chester's body is literally breaking down because of all the carries. With that in mind, and the fact that his game is on Thursday, it doesnt give him much turnaround time. He will be limited, so Henry should be in your lineup. It looks like he will play, and regardless, he is the teams bonafide Goal Line back. Start Henry.

TE

WHO TO START

Colston - He looked awesome this past week, and if it werent for some bad throws, he could have had ~4 more catches. I think he is back from the ankle injury. A must start.

Crumpler - I am going out on a limb here, as the last 4 games, Alge has only caught 11 balls for 197 and a TD. The last time he played the Panthers, he has 3 for 30 and a TD. The Falcons need this game, and Vick will throw, yes I said it, all over a depleted Panthers secondary. Alge gets 5 balls, 70 yards, and a score.

WHO TO BENCH

Gates - he only caught one ball last week, Rivers is playing like shit, Seattle is a tough place to throw, the Seahawks have the linebackers and safties (Tatupu, Peterson, etc) to match up with him. I could regret it, but I dont think Antonio Gates will be productive this weekend.

Defense

New England - No question. They are playing the best ball of those options, and the Jax offense had been anythign but impressive lately (except when they played the Colts, but they wont run like that on NE, especially with Fred Taylor hurting). Start NE.

There you have it.

I hope this helps.

- The Guru
