TOB is probably the third best coach State has ever had behind Earle Edwards and Sheridan.

I really don't get the hate.

You people act like we should be winning ACC titles and going to BCS bowls.

a team coming out flat in a road game following a deflating loss in a hyped season opener?

this is surely a first in college football

TOB will never survive cutting Russell Wilson. He and mike glennon simply have too much blood on their hands.

It's really sickening how much glennon has been babied for five years and he still can't play. It all started against SC when TOB kept benching Wilson during the middle of a scoreless game so glennon could throw incompletions.

Now three years later a coach who is famous for being no nonsense and cut an all American out of sheer butthurt is crying to the media about how windy it was?

Give me a break. Im ready for the TOB and Glennon era to end.

OUT DAMNED SPOT. Too bad they never read Macbeth. You can't wash your hands clean with all that blood. You guys are cursed to suck, sorry.

Also , new team rule. From now on quarterbacks are not allowed to pledge a fraternity. We will call this rule the Glennon. We've seen what it does to a guy who was ranked next to Andrew luck coming out of high school

Last year Glennon had 31 TDs, 12 interceptions, 62.5% completed, 3,054 yards, 136.4 rating, and we're only 2 games into this season.

In 2010, Wilson had 28 TDs, 14 interceptions, 58.4% completed, 3,563 yard, 127.5 rating.

Just for perspective to to show just how much Glennon "can't play".

If you read face's posts without any prior knowledge you would think Glennon and TOB actually murdered RW rather than just telling him he would have to earn the starting spot when he came back. Thrilling.

You mean this game? http://espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=292460152

Mike Glennon threw 2 passes. 1 was incomplete.

Yeah I really don't remember but I'm pretty sure Wilson came out of the game for a little bit after taking a hard hit.

^Nah, that was the year prior. @ South Carolina. We lost 34-0 or something.

Well since this is the year we sacrificed Wilson to keep Glennon around I guess I'll look more to this year's stats:

2 TD
4 INT
55.3% completed
492 yards

And since we always get off to horrid starts I suppose we're on the right track.

I haven't seen much of that thus far, have you?"

umm yes, yes I have. Our recruiting classes have tons of them.

^^BC has fallen to complete shit now that his players are all gone. They may not admit it, but they will never do any better than TOB.

We're a much better football team that when TOB started. Night and day. We are a good football team that no one in the ACC can overlook (see Clempson last year).

And we've beat UNC 5 years in a row - so I'm ok with being good. When TOB retires, bring in Nick Saban.

Who exactly would be playing QB this year if Russell stayed and Glennon left? One of our current backups with 0 game experience?

It was fun to watch when Rivers was playing. The last three years of Amato was the most frustrating shit to watch ever. I still cringe when I think of all the stupid penalties.

At least when we get beat now its because a team is usually better than us or played better than we did that day.

^^I was at that game too. Specifically remember a false start where Tank Tyler came across the line after the whistles, ran 5 yards to the qb and threw him down.

wrong -- hail mary to john dunlap was fucking crazy to beat BC
also beating FSU the next game -- Tank Tyler was a monster
then Evans got concussed against Wake Forest and we lost all the rest.

My first year at State was the first team post-Rivers.

I got to see Jay Davis, Marcus Stone, Daniel Evans, and the beginning of Russell Wilson.

The worst memory I have was everyone so pumped we were going to make a bowl game, all we had to do was beat Maryland, and then we got shut out at home in what I remember as the coldest experience I had in Carter-Finley.
