I never knew TWW was such a hotbed of gay culture. I don't only carry my iPad in it. It also fits my MBA and all the cables and attachments for that as well. I ended up replacing my full sized backpack with a bag that's roughly 1/3rd the size. I can't imagine ever actually using the flipdown "feature" of the bag, but I was looking for something small, but large enough to carry both my iPad and my MBA, and for that, it's just perfect.

Yeah the speed with which I lose pens is directly correlated to the price I pay for them, and that seems to be extended to styli as well. I wouldn't dare buy one of those unless it was literally chained to my ipad.

How do I get the URL? From the iPad when you select the picture the only options you have is to save or copy. If I try to copy and paste nothing gets pasted. If I save it I can't browse to it from imgur to select the file. If I had the URL I'd just post it using HTML.

There's a weird pasting bug in iOS i've noticed where it won't always paste into web form text boxes for some reason.

After copying the image, try pasting it in the URL bar, then copying it again, and pasting into the text box.

^^You could always upload it to imgur with an app. But that's neither simple nor intuitive. I'm not really sure why ComputerGuy decided to use the smiley when he was replying to your question other than the fact that apparently this is the "let's see who can be the biggest dick" page of the iPad thread. There really isn't a great way to do what you want to do without jumping through a few needless hoops. It really would be great if you could always just get the URL of an image from a webpage, but AFAIK, there isn't an easy way to do that on a lot of pages.

I;m going to step in on behalf of El Nacho. That bag is neither gay nor nerdy. Its not bad looking at all, its purpose built, and is pretty well proportioned. It's very similar to the modern "messenger" backpacks being sold to school kids these days.

Honestly there are 3 types of carriers: Backpacks, messenger bags and briefcases. This is a pretty successful hybrid bag, used for two very successful hybrid devices. Yes the flip down feature is stupid and gimmicky, so are 1/2 the features on any upmarket bag.

I'll tell you what's both nerdy and stupid are the thousands of 30+ year old men I see at conferences wearing tech-product-branded backpacks that looks like they are pedophiles trying to figure out where the nearest high school is. There's nothing much less cool than seeing some old dude wearing a primary school backpack.

On the flip side of that we have the classic messenger bags, which I am quite a big fan of. But they have their own issues. They are horribly uncomfortable to wear for long periods, they are bulky as hell compared to what they hold, and they can be a LOT more expensive than other options. A messenger bag is really only suited to carry large planar objects, while having space for a whole lot more than that.

Last, the briefcases. This includes all the neoprene sleeves, and most traditional "computer bags". Adding a strap to a briefcase does not make it a messenger bag. These things are great for storing a laptop, but they are fucking hideous as an aesthetic product and immediately identify you as an out of touch engineer or old businessperson.
