If had to guess. I’d say no Markell, Wyatt , or Lecque next year. Maybe no Seabron if he doesn’t qualify. We are probably looking to add more grad transfers.

It is my understanding that the immediate eligibility is only after you've graduated, so he'd have to have finished his master's to possibly get another free transfer. I'm pretty sure that's never going to happen with a basketball or formal player though (finishing 2 degrees in 4 years.)

Walker wasn't a 3 point shooter but he had just as good of ppg/rpg as Andree during his sophomore season at Samford. Not sure how relevant Andree's Lehigh stats are going to be when it comes to ACC play.

Andree is a good add. He fits what KK wants to do pretty perfectly as a stretch 4. This gives us 4 bigs and adds some versatility.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I hope Walker stays. I think he has good chemistry with the team and he does the dirty work. Sure his ceiling is limited but I think he is a nice balance to the other 3 guys we have.

Having Walker/Bates at C and Andree/DJF playing the 4, definitely gives us some versatility and different looks for teams. If Walker leaves and we don't land Smits, then we're going to have to play DJF a lot at the 5 and I don't think that is the ideal scenario given our system and DJF's skillset.

I think Walker just came to the same realization as Trevor Lacey.

There was absolutely no way he was going to have a big enough year next year to make the NBA, so if your end goal is to get paid to play internationally, might as well start that sooner rather than later, he already has his degree.

Walker would have been an ideal back-up 5 or glue-guy that could come in and do some dirty work. I also think the realization that he was likely looking at a reduction in minutes and potentially coming off the bench had to be less appealing to him.

If we land Smits I think we're still good inside, but not sure we're going to be able to handle just 3 bigs this year like last year, particularly with Bates coming off an injury.

As to whether we're "fine", it all has to do with the unknowns of Bates and hopefully Smits

^Eh, I was considering Dorn a 4 and lumping him in. I don't see us going with a 4 Guard line-up as much this year and rotating Andree and DJF could play some 4 and then you could put Bates/Smits at the 5(assuming we land Smits).

If we don't land Smits we'll likely be forced to play 4 guard line-ups.

Hellems and Andree are both bigger than Dorn. Dorn can play up a size with the small ball we had to play last season, but he is not a PF

If we don't land Smits I suspect we will look alot like last year. Dj and Bates rotating at the 5, Hellems and Andree rotating at the 4. We obviously need Hellems to make a leap in either scenario
