tonight (oops, last night? I tivo) was the first night I didn't like watching the daily show. I didn't like Jon's xmas card to bill o'reily (bil o rly? sry), it was just cocky, like "I know you're a fucktard and I know my audience thinks you're a retard, and I know I can point you out as one." I like the sarcasm, but it's all just getting a little too parallel with news shows. I liked it a little better before they started interviewing important people rather than just celebrities.... It was a step beyond what little news most late night talk shows got into, and I like their mocking the media and politicians... but it's all getting a little too powerful. I hope it doesn't get too recognized as how to speak to people like a lot of us on here(men 18-36) because then it might be used for evil, and that would absolutely ruin it. South park is getting a little too close to political satire too. I'd like to see more stuff along the lines of when cartman thought he was a vietnamese whore.... you know the mormon episode and the scientology episode and recently the AA episode... too strong a stance for real comedy if you ask me....
