i listened to that stream for the whole first half. the guy was horrible. i really got the impression he was trying to call the game like it was basketball on the radio, because he would call out every little pass, or try to anyway. he couldn't follow the flow of the game well at all, and his excitement seemed to just be trying to cover the fact that he had no clue what to say to properly describe what was happening.

i love tim howard, but he shoulda laid out for that one. i actually think he was expecting a diving header, and was caught flat-footed when it didn't come.


and that penalty was absolute shit. i'm not blaming the call, but you have to know when you're in the box before you make that stupid of a play.


and clint dempsey is obviously frustrated, because he's the only one out there playing well. he probably should've gotten a yellow for that run-in with panama's keeper.
