Supposedly a year or two ago there was a Frolov for Williams straight up deal that ended up getting pulled off the table. They were both drafted in 2000 (Frolov 20th overall and Williams 28th) and have put up very similar career numbers. The only difference is that Williams has had the injury problems, so we'll have to throw something else in. Hopefully the Kings are watching this game.

I would rather the Williams for Frolov trade not include Eaves, with more time played tonight he scores 2 goals. I would rather it be Williams and a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Frolov. I think he would be a great person to join the Staal line, if only we could get him or Ruutu to play right wing that would be a pretty intimidating line.

Also do not reacquire Cole in a trade, especially not the shit I hear with Ruutu being involved. You don't trade a player who brings it every night for one you never knew what you would get. I'm fine with trying to resign him in the off season at a hopeful discount, but now is not the time to trade away anything outside of the expiring contracts of UFAs which would be LaRose and Seidenberg (don't want to trade either as I think they are few of the consistent ones). I want to lock both up for more than 1 season as I like both players. I wish we could just throw in Kaberle as a salary evener for a trade, but idk if that will happen ever.
