Ehh I have Watson and Johnson and Watson has been pretty steady. I am not sure even if Rudi is healthy they will go completely back to him.

Andre Johnson is the one that needs to come back.

[Edited on October 30, 2007 at 3:48 PM. Reason : ^Wow that is rough, I say go with Huard since he is somewhat consistent]

trade offer:

i give
shaun alexander
patrick crayton
chris henry (cincy)

i get
willis mcgahee
bernard berrian
tony gonzalez

it's a keeper league, so mcgahee would be a viable keeper. also TE's = WR's in our league. no mandatory TE position.

i'm leaning towards yes, though i'm still trying to find a way to nab LT from him instead.

alexanders got a much better schedule through week 13 but i'm just sick of how much he has sucked (and he's had his shots against shitty defenses).

i think i'm gonna pull the trigger

^Ditto I have Alexander too.

With Wynn out in GB, is Grant going to have more games like that or was that just weak Denver D?

Hey Boobs which do you like best picking up between Selvin Young, Chatman, and Grant?

wolfNstein you could take a look at JP Losman....he is starting now and Lee Evans is back on track. They are playing a weak Cincy defense too

[Edited on October 30, 2007 at 9:20 PM. Reason : Losman]

if i were to pick up any of the 3, right now itd be chapman, unless of course you need someone to start this week. grant will always have morency and jackson to share with, young is still not the official starter and hall is not a bad back.

all chatman has is samkon gado and he sucks

Grant was just named the starter. He is the only back for GB to go over 100 this year, and he plays on a team that actually has an offense. A great passing team can really open things up for the run game. Minnesota may see AP struggle more now with QB issues.

Just my two cents, but I would stay away from everything Miami at this point.

OK BIG decision here because this coming fantasy matchup for me, coincidentally enough, is a battle of unbeatens.

The 8-0 "Team Hassalhoff" will be squaring off against my 8-0 team Super-Satans.

I have to decide between: Marshawn Lynch VS. The Bengals

or

Willis Mcgahee VS. The Steelers

I know it makes sense to start Lynch, just because the bengals D is so awful, but considering the talent and the great games Mcgahee has played the last two weeks, its still is a tough decision for me.....
What would you do??

^^Good call on that.

I was wondering and looked it up. After searching through every box score, the last rusher to go for over 100 against them was Edgerrin James with the Colts on November 28th, 2005. Before that the next previous was Rudi Johnson of Cincy on October 3rd, 2004.

So yeah, the Steelers are not the kind of team that your RB will get big yards against. Sometimes they give up a decent number of yards to a RBBC, and they do let some teams get multiple rushing TDs (I saw a game with Buffalo where MacGahee had 77 yards and 2 TDs, so there is some hope there, but if you have a better play, go for it.)

rushing td's are too hard to predict. team could end up inside the 5 any number of ways, in which case a rushing TD is certainly a possibility. lynch will definitely win the yardage battle between the two backs. lynch has more td's on the year too.

I have picked up a few of these backups-turned-starters like chatman, grant, and s. young waiting in the wings in addition to Lynch. My TE is Desmond clark

dont do that.

Bush is the UNQUESTIONED starter on a good team and has the benefit of being the primary goal line back.

Especially if you are in a PPR league.

Keep Bush.

I got a trade offer for S Holmes and I get NYG def. I have the Bears now and they blow lately and the Giants schedule in the upcoming weeks look good and they have been playing really well.

I need to start 3 WRs and I already have Roy Williams, Andre Johnson (hopefully coming back soon), S Moss, and P Crayton. I would drop the Bears for a new WR, preferably D Patten, James Jones, or maybe Ginn Jr.

Thoughts?

Everything I have read says andre johnson wont be back till after their bye week. It can't come soon enough, though. Dude played two games and has almost as many points as Roy williams and Donald Driver who have started all season.

Yeah my WR-Core is pretty good (Braylon Edwards, Donte Stallworth, Hines Ward, Calvin Johnson) but when Andre Johnson comes back I'll have one of the best in my league.

The latest blurb says AJ is about 85% and they said he might play this week, but I just can't see them being dumb enough to rush the BEST player on their team back too soon.

Who is a decent defense to pick up for this week with the Bears out?

Detroit vs DEN, Tampa Bay vs ARI, Buffalo vs CIN, Arizona @ TB, Oakland vs HOU, Houston @ OAK are all available.

I like the Texans matchup vs Oakland but they have been sucking ass. Is Detroit the best play here?

^Brees. Kitna is against Denver who is usually good against the pass. Plus Brees is really on a roll now.

V Its basically a one man trade with Peyton because Henry is likely done for the year maybe 1/2 games

Not bad, assuming 1) you need a QB 2) you don't think SJ's going to be a star again 3) defenses are mostly interchangable and 4) you can take the risk on Henry.

My other defenses are Green Bay and Baltimore so I feel ok about that

My other RBs are Edgerrin, Jamal Lewis and Ernest Graham...very iffy but I'd be adding Henry

but the only QB I drafted was Leinhart...then I rode Garrard for awhile...currently I have Kurt Warner

Dude keeps trying to trade me Jeff Garcia but he wants too much

Why the fuck do you have 3 defenses...

You gave me shit about keeping a kicker and you have a surplus of the most interchangeable part of any fantasy team..

And the rest of your teams sounds mediocre at best...who were your top picks besides Jackson?

and he rewarded me with 1 fucking point last week, so back to the waivers with him

Miraculously, Folk made it through the waivers and I got him back for the rest of the season

I always do much better in fantasy NBA since it pays to be much more meticulous since you change the lineups every day instead of every seven

tough week this week...i'm 6-2 and just had my 6 week winning streak broken thanks to LT's crappy day with no TDs and steve smith's no show.

i have
hasselbeck, galloway, steve smith, donald driver (andre johnson if he starts), LT, adrian peterson (the good one), heap, dawson, and dallas

he has
brady, boldin, b. edwards, calvin johnson, maroney, barber III, dallas clark, akers, and jacksonville

Please I am in a big slump...but at least Ive got Romo and Witten back this week.

If you guys had these choices who would you start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and 1 RB/WR?

Shaun Alexander
Jamal Lewis
Selvin Young
Ryan Grant
Rudi Johnson
Brandon Stokley
Patrick Crayton
Jerricho Cotchery

I have Benson and Chatman on Bye and Andre Johnson is still hurt

V I want to start Young but am unsure of Henry's status and Clemmons seems to like J-CO more

[Edited on November 1, 2007 at 2:28 PM. Reason : Grant I am waiting to see if that was a fluke]

looks like Travis Henry is going to be ok this week so keep an eye on that situation when it comes to Selvin

also Rudi practiced today and Kenny Watson got a concussion last week...again, keep an eye on this situation...might be a gametime decision

If Alexander can't cut it against the Browns I might be done with him.

The autodraft took him, Rudi, and Benson 1, 2, 3 for me.

Luckily I got there in time to take Romo and Witten.

Trade proposal I got. I would get Kellen Winslow, Steven Jackson, and Calvin Johnson. I would be giving up Marshawn Lynch and Braylon Edwards. I am loaded at RB and have little use for Lynch. I have no TE production. However, I really don't want to give up my most productive WR. Is this worth considering?

I have Rudi and Watson, so I'm starting neither in favor of Jamal Lewis and Grant from GB. I dropped T. Henry and picked up Young, supposedly it's only a matter of weeks before Henry is suspended for being a dumbass.
