sometimes after I know someone a couple months, they become more comfortable and let out their crazy/creepy side

ok....this isn't really a confession in that it's no secret...

it's probably more suited for the "what are you thinking" thread but i've been thinking about it for a while so I'm going to put it here...

first of all...I'm superstitious as hell....I believe in all that silly shit like astrology and what not...

all last year Bob from Bob and the Showgram talked about "the curse of '07" in terms of odd numbered years being significantly shittier than even numbered years....

if I think back, with the exceptions of 1994 and 1998 being incredibly awful years, this has been the case for the most part in my life....

anyway...the various events of last year were pretty damn high on my list of shittiest stuff ever and profoundly effected me....even more than i realized at the time....

however....this year has quickly risen up as just a simply wonderful year....i'm happy...i have great friends....i have a good job (or two)...i'm just generally very content with the state of things in my life...and I think a lot of it has to do with the things that happened last year...

not that I didn't already know...but i've able to better put in perspective the fact the life is short...enjoy every minute you have with those you love...if someone brings you down, avoid them...if you're not happy, do something different so you are....appreciate all the things you have...appreciate all the people in your life because they can be gone in a blink of the eye...value your important friendships and don't let silliness and bullshit cause problems that are easily avoidable and don't matter in the long run...and make sure you let the people in your life know (even if they piss you off and frustrate the shit out of you) just how much they really mean to you...

all that being said....to all the people on TWW that consider me a friend...and all the ones that know I care about them (you know who you are)...

well that's just sad...but here is an actual confession worthy of this thread...

so it's never been any secret to anyone that knows me that I could never be a high school teacher....it wouldn't take long before I was arrested for one of two things...I would beat the shit out of somebody's mouthy child....but most importantly, I'd be hauled away for child molestation...

well...the other night I was watching Kicking and Screaming with a friend of mine and commented that "the little Italian boy is the straight hair is going to be fine as hell when he's older"....then I sat there and watched a little longer and said "on second thought...he's sorta hot right now...i feel dirty for saying that"....a few minutes later one of the other kids in the movie says something about being 11 or maybe 12....

but anyway...in conclusion....i don't guess i should teach middle school either
