i mean my brother's middle name is toms, another last name. no not tom, it is definitely toms, with an s. but i mean howard is pretty bad. what is weird is that my boyfriend's middle name is howard, too

hahaha i do but they gave it to me. i'm the first one so maybe they were scurred that this was their one and only chance to use the sweet name.

katherine is my mom's middle name (her name is mary katherine) and they wanted to name me cameron but i guess cameron howard sounds really bad so i got katherine. pretty much everything centers around the howard.

my dad doesn't even have a middle name. his middle name is "B." like that is it. apparently it really confuses the government and the army, etc. my grandmother's maiden name is bitter and she didn't think that was a very nice sounding middle name. so instead they used "B." and the . is an actual part of it. if you're trying to be official.

my family is weird, man.

Cool bars in Greensboro? I only know the ones downtown. I'd say Stumble Stilskins is pretty good, and The Burro. Natty Greene's is good to, but pricey (though on par with the Raleigh scene, I suppose.) Also- Red Oak brew house is close to Guilford College if you're over that way. I hear they have something ridiculous like $6 pitchers of Red Oak.

Also- Why are you so bored in Greensboro? Is it impossible to go out and meet people and become unbored?

well i'm too busy to go out really. and yea natty's stumbles the burro are pretty much the regular hotspots for my classmates. i don't really care about meeting people (as bad as that seems) because i'm so busy and between balancing my friends and family in raleigh and school i don't really have time right now for new friends. and i don't plan on staying here after school. if i didn't have school, i'd probably put a LOT more effort into going out and meeting people. and i probably wouldn't be as bored/fun deprived.

although besides those places, i really don't know where to go. mccouls, grey's or whatever gray's, and that other one..speakeasy? i've also been to

Yeah the owner of McCoul's is a pretty nice guy I've met him once or twice. And Speakeasy is alright. I go to Jake's Billiars quite often to shoot pool, but it's kind of a dive. And there's always Old Towne on UNCG's campus and New York Pizza down on Tate Street are both popular among my friends, but NYP is very College-esque.

7 years, met my jr year... long distance the last 2.5. It's mostly us not wanting to chase something that might not ever happen (logistically with our career choices) -- my feelings, at least, haven't changed but circumstances do.

most of the ones i see i don't like. i occasionally see a cool one. i'm too fickle to ever get one. why? do you have one? thinking about getting one? i would just change my mind like 1 second after i got it.

the only way i could ever really imagine getting one is like if i did something really significant and had a really meaningful experience. like if i lived in another country saving orphans for like 25 years, i might end up with some hippie tattoo. other than that, i don't see myself getting one ever.
