Mass. Republicans oust Ron Paul delegates
They did not deliver affidavit in support of Mitt Romney on time

Evan Kenney had just turned 18 and registered to vote for the first time when he campaigned to be an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention. Lauding Ronald Reagan’s principles and blasting Keynesian economics at the Lynnfield caucus in April, the Wakefield High School senior beat out several well-known Massachusetts Republicans, including the party’s most recent nominee for governor, Charles D. Baker Jr.

But earlier this month, Kenney was one of 17 delegates and alternates disqualified by a Republican committee deciding who gets to represent Massachusetts Republicans at the national convention in Tampa. Kenney and others had failed to deliver in time an affidavit swearing, under the penalty of perjury, that they would support Mitt Romney’s nomination for president.

As you may or may not know, there is a lawsuit against the RNC and Mitt Romney led by Richard Gilbert in ALL 50 states. You've heard me crying and whining about election and voting machine fraud for MONTHS in this very thread.

and as you may or may not know, I volunteered and was chosen to process serve Virginia's RNC in this lawsuit. The task has been completed.
I was last informed that 49 states have been served and they are waiting for just 1 state to be served, which will most likely be taken care of today (Monday).

Please listen in to what he has to say about the case, it is rather interesting.

Paul gets a guaranteed speech spot at the RNC if he pulls a plurality of delegates in Nebraska on the 14th.

I would love to see the heads explode if this happens

It's not going to happen and I'll tell you why.

There is no policy in place that can stop the establishment from artificially adding delegates to the Nebraska delegation AFTER the deadline.

Therefore if 500 people applied before the deadline, they have more than a full month to pay and add 500 more people to guarantee a Romney victory.

As i understand it, plurality of delegates means only that he has to have more than one...So it won't matter if there are 50 or 50,000 total delegates, as long as Paul has at least 2 of them, but correct me if i'm wrong.

I always assumed plurality meant 2/3rd or more.
and I always assumed majority meant 1/2 or more.

I have to assume because I never looked it up and just found out there's a precision difference in the definitions

I shall edit this post with the correct answer in a moment

Correct answer:

A majority means that more than 50% of the voters voted for the person or issue in question.

A plurality means that less than 50% voted for the person or issue, but that vote got more than any other vote.

How is it fraud for the person that made the fliers to say they don't find Ron Paul to their liking and that some Democrats might show up to vote for him? It's totally legal to change your registration to another party if you so please.

I don't think you know the definition of "fraud."

My mistake, the latest version (which is admittedly the most evenhanded version) was only brought to a vote in the senate. Still Rand and company voted against and Campaign for Liberty was railing against it. I'm just not seein the controversy

""Hello Richard,

Hope this finds you well! Just had an idea.
Not sure if ti's possible.

If we have plaintiffs in states with "sore loser" laws, (about 8 states I think).. maybe we could request that they must allow Paul to be put on their ballot, as the true outcome can never be obtained.
In this manner, Paul would be able to be on the ballot, in all 50 states, as an Independent. He'd pull alot more votes as an independent also! It'd be HUGE!

K, Hope you are well!
Really Love what you are doing!

Carol PauL said yesterday that her and Ron know it has been committed(vote fraud), and she thinks it's wonderful someone cared enough to file a lawsuit.

Many many thanks again as your spirits essence is now positively reverberating throughout the Universe and beyond, with this epic selfless deed! You da Man!!

Sincerely,

(name withheld)"

Louisiana GOP Certifies Convention Delegation, Sans Ron Paul Supporters

WASHINGTON – On the eve of Saturday’s deadline, the Louisiana Republican Party Friday afternoon certified with the Republican National Committee its slate of delegates to the party’s national convention in Tampa, filling slots that backers of Ron Paul won in the caucuses with supporters of Mitt Romney. Ron Paul’s Louisiana campaign filed their own delegate slate with the RNC after the party’s state convention in Shreveport devolved into two separate conventions, with the Paul forces electing a delegation with a Paul majority, and the state party choosing a slate that left vacant 13 spaces for Paul delegates chosen in the caucus if an agreement could be worked out with supporters of the Texas congressman.

It is up to the Republican National Committee – and if its decision is appealed to the convention’s credentials committee – to decide which slate to seat, and there seems little doubt that they would side with the state party. Neither the RNC nor the Romney campaign has much interest in seating a delegation controlled by Paul forces.

In a statement Friday, the Louisiana GOP said, “since the state convention concluded, Ron Paul suspended his presidential campaign and no compromise could be reached with his Louisiana supporters, who still insist on having a majority of the delegates as part of any negotiations. Paul supporters also filed suit against the party challenging its right to bind delegates according to the results of the Louisiana Presidential Preference Primary, in which Congressman Paul received 5% of the vote. Unable to reach an agreement, the Executive Committee filled the vacancies in the delegation with supporters of Mitt Romney and certified the official list with the RNC.”

Thanks for the compliment ( I think)

What I really want to know is-- Where is everyone's line?

What things, events, and ideas would have to be crossed in order for someone to say, "You know what? That crazy dude with conviction was right."?

My line was crossed at the beginning of the Obama presidency when he came out less than 4 days after his inauguration to say that he was not going to do one single thing that he promised while campaigning, and instead continue with TARP bail outs, not bring our troops home, and not close Guantanamo. Since then, he has passed the NDAA, declared martial law in peace time, more than doubled the national debt, hasn't touched unemployment, expanded welfare programs without extra funding, waved the war flag to attack iran, signed obamacare and now we have to pay money to OPT OUT of insurance we don't use. Even if we do get sick, we still have to foot the hospital bill AND pay for no insurance.

I haven't even scratched the surface. We haven't even talked about the entire fraudulent nomination of Mitt Romney.

If all of what's going on doesn't convince you that they are trying to ruin America ON PURPOSE, I have no idea what will.

I'd like to hear pryderi or some other blind Obama follower respond to ^ .

My conversion from a neo-con to a Ron Paul supporter happened this past fall, during my back issues. I was at home a lot and was reading a lot about the issues with Libya, Iran, Afghanistan, and the national debt and the government's unwillingness to do anything about it.

I'm in the military, and I got to the point where I re-assessed why I was in the military. It came down to wanting to support and defend the Constitution. Once I really stepped back and re-affirmed that, I started looking at everything from a Constitutionality point of view.

And, of course, I was watching the debates and listening to what Ron Paul was saying and it just hit me that THIS IS THE GUY. He gets it.

impossible to prove. Depends on what statistics you use. Right now the most commonly touted number is 8.3% In July 2010 it was 9.5% Who knows whether these numbers reflect actual unemployment.

The way this is framed any government spending while we're at deficit is wrong. Can't agree with that. We definitely need to reduce spending everywhere while maintaining necessary programs like welfare and education.

I'm not sure what you mean by ruin America, and I'm certain that the people who benefit from America not being ruined wouldn't want to ruin it on purpose. Personally I'm fed up with the perpetual war so Ron Paul gets my nod on that issue. Since that's the one thing he can fix without having to worry about Congress fucking it up maybe he should be President. They'd never let his crackpot economic ideas come to fruition but he at least could reign in our military.
