in real time he looked 5ft offside because he and the defender were running in opposite directions. In the replay he looked to just be a step offside.

the replay looked very close. both of their feet were close, but their bodies were heading in opposite directions. could have gone either way, but in real time, with the way they were moving in each direction, i would probably have raised the flag, but i can't blame the linesman for keeping it down.
