i think the wall would not be a concern in defensive TD situations, because once they cross the goal line the play is over, then they can move to the other side to kick the PAT. There's no chance that anyone blindly hits the wall like if they were running a route or something on offense.

I think if LSU got in over Boise or TCU the outcry would be pretty big and I'm not sure the voters would do it. I have no problem putting them below any undefeated BCS school but anyone who has seen them play knows they can line up with anyone and beat em and if they are the only undefeateds left should be given that shot.
