He seems ok, the way his leg wrapped around the defender probably just tweaked his knee a little. Crazy shot though, he sure has a knack for scoring from unusual angles like that. Arshavin is definitely looking like he has his form back too.

I actually think Szczesny is an excellent goalkeeper, especially for his age. I like the way he came out for that ball against Martins a minute later. I hope it doesn't knock his confidence too much.

And I think Koscielny deserves a decent part of the blame for that goal too.

The Guardian thinks there is a good possibility that Rooney will face a suspension from the FA for that elbow he threw against Wigan.

Funny how that incident sort of got "swept under the rug" around here...

The elbow was pretty dirty, and there was no call for it. You won't see me defend it....... BUT (and this is a big but that I cannot lie about)

If it weren't Rooney it wouldn't be hyped up nearly as much as it has been. Not saying that as a positive or a negative, just saying it.

There are rumors in the United circles that he's had a falling out with Giggs, Scholes, and Michael Owen. Not like a training ground bust up, but they all keep their distance from him now and I guess he kinda trains on his own like a one man wolfpack.

I don't mean that he's a dirty player but he always comes out of nowhere with a blatant kick to the back of the legs or an elbow like that one. It's always just excused with a youthful temper or aggressive style or some other bullshit

“But I certainly think if it was a Manchester United player, he would have been done, as was the case with Rio Ferdinand. There is nothing you can do about it. You just scratch your head at some of the decisions they take and wonder how they came to them.” "

Fergie on the FA... he right.

that's two years in a row now

i want someone to tell me how United get "all the calls" again? David Luiz should've been sent off TWICE. Essien and Ramires, too.
