what about this defense choice:

redskins vs. ravens (maybe flacco throws a couple picks?) OR
eagles vs. giants (eagles should get some sacks but i'm afraid of the giants putting up A LOT of points)

the weather in Balt is gonna be in the low 30s and its snowing so look for that matchup more so than the Eagles vs Giants

I would definitely think the weather may help WASH a little bit

pick 1 DEF

Tampa Bay vs CAR
Balt vs Wash

Pick 3:
Steve Slaton, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, and Chris Johnson.

Im thinking of giving Johnson the 3rd spot over Lynch this week.

I think you are right on

bench Lynch

[Edited on December 7, 2008 at 12:49 PM. Reason : Favre or Flacco - Im leaning towards Favre cus of the weather in Baltimore is going to be snowing]

Well, DeSean Jackson and Lance Moore fucked me today, so far.
Carney didn't help either.

gd, if i put anyone else in other than cotchery, I would be winning this fucking playoff game.

Have smitty vs antonio bryant left. smith needs to score 3 more than bryant.

Cotchery with 1 point and Gates with 0 points are my goats this week.

wow. jets starting receivers:
cotchery 1 catch 10 yards
coles 1 catch 5 yards

and the REAL kicker... san fransico's defense was 29th in passing before today.

what the hell happened here?!

Favre is playing pretty bad and the Jets are abandoning the run way too early. Thomas Jones goes for 56 yards on 10 carries, that is 5.6 ypc which is solid. He should be seeing 20-25 carries a game.

But in other news:
Indy D/ST and John Carlson were great pick-ups this week.

well deangelo knocked me out of the playoffs. after being the #1 seed all year.

oh well, at least he beat me and the panthers won. if i had to go out, i guess that's the best way

here's to my other two teams...

dude had 2 players score 32 -- westbrook and bryant. interestingly, we both had 2 players get zero (gates and cotchery, j. lewis and h. ward)

One of my teams I was 10-3 and high scorer and lost to a team 1-12 in the playoffs by 2 points. Dude had most points he's scored all season.

I didn't know Schaub was playing and started Eli. I also had Hillis/Gore......

im in the playoffs

sadly, running backs are a concern

pick 2

Addai
Rhodes
Mewelde
Larry Johnson

at least I'm guaranteed at least one healthy back from Indy vs. Det.

LJ is not doing as good as I thought he would be.....not getting TDs. SD is weak against the run though.

Who is going to be Denver's back now? Tatum Bell? Is he worth a pickup?

I need a defense for my first playoff game

Here are my choices:

Panthers vs Den
Vikings vs Ari

Waiver pickups
NE @Oak (This one is pretty good but NE is a little banged up but it's Oak.)
Skins @ Cin
Sea @STL (I like this one as a pick up. STL Sucks but I don't want to rely on them for the Playoffs)

Thank you Matt Bryant. Due to doinking your FG then getting your XP rejected, I lost by 2 points and dropped to the 4 seed. I will now have to play the 1 seed, who has lost a grand total of one game this year.

Pick 2 WR:

Lee Evans @ NYJ
Braylon Edwards @ Philly
Domenik Hixon @ Dal
Deion Branch @ StL

and would you think about starting Pierre Thomas @ Chicago over Joseph Addai vs. Detroit?

Evans and Branch (It's a stretch, I know)

And yes, I would start Thomas over Addai. Addai is hurt and his playing time will likely be limited due to Rhodes and the blowout win over the Lions.

^^ Evans and Branch are easily the best plays you have... hopefully Lee Evans can catch a bomb for you, b/c if JP Losman is playing qb that is the only shot you have of him getting any significant points.

I would check up until the Thursday nighter to make you decision regarding Addai, but if he's hurt, why don't you just pick up Dominic Rhodes, I don't think P. Thomas against the bears is a good matchup.

Huge game this week for me in a pay league dynasty.
Who is my flex option:

Willie Parker vs. Baltimore
Melwelde Moore vs. Baltimore
Eddie Royal Vs. Carolina

this is tough because you just dont know who is going to get the carries for the Steelers...
What do i do?

Okay similiar WR question

R Wayne has been killing me lately but I have to play him vs Det.

Who do I start by his side?
Welker @ Oak
Breaston vs Minn
Hixon @ Dal

Of course I drop V Jack and he decides to go off but I would still be scared to play him in my playoff game.
Some waiver pickups:
Toomer, Chambers, Gage, Jenkins, Engram, R Williams (Matt Jones is out)

I'd probably go with Daniels.

Do you consider Jonathan Stewart against Denver this week over either LT(KC) or T. Jones(Buff)?

If he gets enough touches I think he puts up another great performance, and LT and T. Jones are getting killed by their coaches and back-ups, haha.

thats a toughy...because it seems that Williams is guarenteed to get his, stewart, not always...whereas i feel that this week T. Jones will be getting his after only 10 carries last week...

i wouldn't start j stew over either of those two guys ^^

also i'd probably start shockey over owen daniels. titans are tough and chicago is 28th in pass d

what about these:
reggie bush vs. chicago OR
michael turner vs. tampa bay

ALSO...

desean jackson vs. cleveland OR
antonio bryant vs. atlanta (i just can't see a repeat performance of last week)

I would take Turner and Jackson... Cleveland's secondary is horrendous, and you're right, no way Bryant has a game anywhere near Monday's performance.

Ok, playoff time, and I could use a little help:

QB:
Big Ben Vs. Baltimore
Schaub Vs. Tennessee
Garrard Vs. Green Bay

WR (Pick 2)
Vincent Jackson Vs KC
DeSean Jackson Vs. Cleveland
Lee Evans Vs Buffalo
Davone Bess Vs SF

I'm pretty sure about Vincent Jackson, but my main issue is Bess vs DeSean. I'm leaning slightly toward Bess, since the Dolphins don't really have anyone else besides Ted Ginn at receiver.

Which 2 defenses do you start?

Minnesota @ Ari
New York Jets v Buffalo
Tampa Bay @ Atl

Or I can pick up Miami off the WW.

Considering going with Jets and Miami just due to matchups.
