why didn't Torain play?
and Vick... holy shit Vick. Lol he scored 10 times what Peyton did for me this week
and lol at being up by 1.5 pts going into last nights game, not playing anyone, and going against Washington's defense and Cooley- and still winning!
but in the other league where I thought I had it in the bag (needed just 6 pts out of torain), I lost it

Vick score 62 fantasy points for me last night. 62 POINTS
I started the night down by 30 points and ended up winning by 45 (I also had Lesean McCoy playing)
now I'm faced with a tough decision, who to start this week at QB:
Michael Vick @ NYG Aaron Rodgers @ Min Big Ben vs. Oak
also pick my three WR (non-ppr):
Anquan Boldin @ Car Desean Jackson @ NYG Percy Harvin vs. GB (could be injured and out) Santana Moss @ Ten (didnt do crap in a passing game this week) Malcolm Floyd vs. Den (first game back from injury, instantly the #1 WR in record setting pass offense) Sidney Rice vs. GB (first game back from injury, if Harvin is out he will be top WR option)
then pick my 3 WR in another league (non-ppr) - yes they all are on my roster, before you ask:
Roddy White @ StL Greg Jennings @ Min Donald Driver @ Min Santonio Holmes vs. Hou Pierre Garcon @ NE Sidney Rice vs. GB Michael Crabtree vs. TB 11/16/2010 9:29:24 AM |

Marshall, Steve Johnson, Branch, Woodhead, Edwards, Holmes

I need help by tomorrow morning to pick my TE for the week:
Greg Olsen (@ Mia) or Marcedes Lewis (vs Cle)
Marcedes gets looks and actually catches the ball (he had 5 catches for almost 60 yds last week)
Olsen, on the other hand, has butter fingers- but gets endzone looks (MJD is a vulture in Jax). He got a td last week, but only had a couple more points than lewis.
I also have Knox going (my receiving corps is crap due to bad draft picks, aka Steve Smith (car) and injuries), so Olsen would be the second receiving hope I have going for the bears, and I'm not sure I need that. I'm leaning towards Lewis- someone tell me I'm making the right decision or if I'm horribly mistaken.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, who would you pick up to replace cribbs at this point (I held on to him as my 3WR/Return guy): Jacoby Jones or Ford (oak). Jones has butter fingers as well (dropping more passes than the rest of the team combined), but Ford is still pretty unknown. I like to play one of these guys because you never know when they will break one, and their return yards usually get them consistent points (although, not as good this year as it was last year).
Jones is splitting time with Kevin Walter, and I honestly don't know much about Ford other than what he did in his last game. Honestly, this might be a moot point anyway if Rice comes back this week because then I can start him and Knox and keep playing Brandon Tate- think anyone would trade for steve smith at this point?

WR for this week, pick two:
D. Bowe vs. Az Nate Washington v. Wash. Ocho v. Buf Ward v. Oak
In my league you start getting pts when a WR reached 75 yds rec. ( of course TD count regardless) 11/17/2010 9:39:08 AM |

^^^^I would play Lewis and Jones. Jones plays against the Jets and Ford plays against Pittsburgh. I think Revis will blanket Andre Johnson, so Jones/Walter could get a lot more looks.
^^^ I agree with Bowe and Ochocinco. Bowe is a no-brainer, and Ocho has gotta break out of his semi-slump at some point, Buffalo is a great place to do so
^I would go with Hillis and Bradshaw. Hillis is a definite, its a toss-up for me between Turner and Bradshaw. Since Bradshaw is such a big part of the passing game now, and the Eagles will force plenty of dump-off passes, I would go with Ahmad.

some early news after/during wednesday practice:
Quote : | "The New Orleans Times-Picayune's Jeff Duncan reports that he "heard" Pierre Thomas (ankle) returned to practice this week but is still not 100 percent. Thomas hasn't played since Week 3 because of an ankle injury that's dragged on much longer than anticipated. Duncan said he'll provide an update on Thomas' status after Wednesday's workout, so check back later today to see if he has any kind of chance to suit up for Week 11. " |
Quote : | "ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Panthers are "strongly considering" placing DeAngelo Williams (foot) on injured reserve." |
Quote : | "Judd Zulgad and Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune both believe that Sidney Rice (hip) will ultimately decide not to play at all this season." |
Quote : | "Coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed Tuesday that Beanie Wells (knee) will practice this week before returning to game action Sunday. After taking Week 10 off to rest his surgically repaired knee, Wells plans to practice fully and play at Kansas City Sunday. Backups LaRod Stephens-Howling (hamstring) and Jason Wright (concussion) are both questionable this week, so the Cardinals will need Wells to play alongside Tim Hightower. We'd recommend giving Beanie at least a week to prove himself reliable before plugging him into fantasy lineups" |

Any news on when/whether Romo is going to come back? I picked him up in a 16 team league because there was no one else to pick up, I wanted to get rid of Pickles, and it was an attempt to gear up for the playoffs. He was never put on IR, it was his non-throwing shoulder...but I'm also not sure they'd throw him back out there without having much on the line. Any thoughts?

yeah, two different groups of people making assumptions. I think he has to be activated from the PUP list next Wednesday or else he is ineligible to play at all this season, so we will know one way or another if he is going to play or not by Wednesday. The people in my post are beat writers for Minnesota's newspaper saying what they "believe" will happen, the person in yours is Rice's agent Drew Rosenhaus who is saying/doing everything he can to maximize the amount of money his client will receive once his contract expires after this season
hell the coach doesnt even know whats going to happen:
Quote : | "Vikings coach Brad Childress said Wednesday that he "doesn't know" whether Sidney Rice (hip) will play this season. Childress suspects that Rice wouldn't be practicing if he wasn't planning to play, which makes sense. Rice, however, admits he doesn't feel nearly as explosive after hip surgery as he did last season. Even if Rice gets on the field, the chances seem to be slim that he's capable of a significant impact." |
also, keep on eye on Matt Schaub and Cedric Benson this week, both missed practice today. Schaub had surgery for a bursa sac injury on his knee yesterday and isnt a sure bet to start this week.
finally, help me with one more WR decision this week (non-ppr league) PICK 3:
Roddy White @ StL (obviously starting) Santana Moss @ Tenn Randy Moss vs. Wash Pierre Garcon @ NE Malcolm Floyd vs. Den (and Champ Bailey) *Donald Driver @ Min *Mike Thomas vs. Cle *Lance Moore vs. Sea

I just want to say, NFL.com's projections are OFF-THE-WALL STUPID!
Some examples:
Arian Foster RB - 7.20 (scored less than 11 points in only 1 game, ranked him down with the likes of Green-Ellis & Marshawn Lynch this week)
Andre Johnson WR - 4.80 (maybe, but is Revis enough to bench him? placed him down near #50)
Terrell Owens WR - 10.90 (down near #30 with Sims-Walker, Michael Jenkins, and Massaquoi...mmmmk)
Antonio Gates TE - 4.90 (scored less than 11 points in only 1 game)
Matt Forte RB - 15.50 (really?, according to their rankings he's going to play as well as DMC & McCoy?)
Malcom Floyd WR - 0.00 (90% sure he's going to play)
Hines Ward WR - 11.70 (down near #28 with Marques Colston and Devery Henderson.... lol.)
Aaron Hernandez - 13.10 (this ranks him as top TE this week... not so sure about that.)
Pierre Garcon - 24.50 (hahahaha.... hahaha... ha... they have him ranked as the #1 WR this week)
Patrick Crayton - 14.90 (really, with Floyd and Naanee back? along with Ajirotutu?)
Darren Sproles - 13.00 (even with Matthews out, this ain't gonna happen)
Knowshon Moreno RB - 20.10 (if he gets half that he'll be lucky)
