"LT
Barber III
Portis
Lynch"

LT is obviously a no-brainer

I think Lynch is a definite starter as well given how horrible Miami's run defense is, regardless of me slightly hyping up Losman...I picked up Culpepper for his 1 week against Miami, and even though he had a chip on his shoulder, he rushed for a few on them

Portis v. Barber for the last pick = Portis v. Philly, Barber @ NYG...I dunno, I kind of like Barber but Portis is a good play...you have what I like to call "one of those good problems"

RB/WR Plaxico Burress
WR Marques Colston

Who do I start here..
WR Santonio Holmes or Lee Evans???

Also do I sit Gore or keep giving him a shot?

i would actually consider benching colston and starting both holmes and evans. it sounds ludicrous but colston is going against a slightly tougher pass defense in st. louis, while holmes, burress, and evans are facing 3 of the worst pass defenses in the league in cleveland, dallas, and miami.

big ben and holmes were hot against the ravens monday night, and the browns defense is much worse. on the other hand, evans has begun his second-half surge and has a great chance to put up big numbers on the fins.

i think both holmes and evans have the potential to outscore colston, but brees has certainly been on fire so it's hard to bench him. if you must choose one or the other, however, i would suggest evans. holmes can go ballistic, or ben could throw 3 td's to tight ends and another to hines ward. the thing i love about holmes is he is guaranteed to have at least 1 or 2 chances at catching a 35+ yard touchdown pass off a play-action, as ben loves to give him chances to beat his man deep.

i think i would rank the guys like this:
burress
evans
holmes
colston

but it's hard to go wrong with any of those receivers this week. and i might change my mind on that order, but see what everyone thinks about that for now.

Good I got Priest Holmes....against Denver I am probably starting him. ESPN predicts 21 points!

RBs
Priest Holmes vs Den
Benson @ Oak
Chatman vs Buf
Alexander vs SF
Jamal Lewis @ Pit
Rudi Johnson @ Bal
Ryan Grant vs Min

WRs
Patten vs STL
Crayton @ NYG
Stokley @ KC

2 RBs 2 WRs 1 flex Currently I have Chatman, Priest, Benson, Patten, Crayton

Benson has sucked all year but Oakland is last against the run. Thoughts?

HELP!!!! I need opinions on this one:

Travis Henry (no Cutler = extra carries?, I also have S. Young on the bench)
OR
Deion Branch (Return from injury?)
OR
Shit Alexander (my worst #1 pick of all time)

Thx!

FYI: I think Warrick Dunn may have a big week. The panthers offense wont be able to stay on the field very long with no QB, and Norwood will not play due to ankle injury!
==== + carries against a team that knows their season is practically over already...

Priest is not going to get as many carries as everyone thinks... he's a bigger risk at least

S. Jackson (@ NO)
or
J. Lewis (@ PIT)
or
W. Dunn (@ CAR)

Jackson looks to start but not sure if he gets many carries because of his health.
Lewis @ PIT is interesting... probably not many yards, but will probably score once or twice.
Dunn @ CAR is the one that bugs me... Carolina sucks and Dunn finally got 100 and a TD last week.

Brees - NO is on a roll. BB is too, and it's hard to ignore 5TDs, but I still pick Brees.

Which RB to start, Brandon Jacobs or Marion Barber?

Is Kolby Smith worth picking up? He's the other RB for KC.

I've decided to gamble this week and picked up Henry from Cincy as well as Warrick Dunn.

^I personally think Kolby Smith has more upside this week than Priest

Henry is a solid receiver to have for the 2nd half of the season...along with a healthy Rudi Johnson the Bengals might actually get their offense going the way everybody expected it to go

although Henry already is in more trouble lol...apparently he didn't want to pay to park in some parking lot a night or two ago and the cops ended up getting called

anderson didn't do shit in the 2nd half of week 1 vs the steelers. i'd probably go kitna too.

i picked up the saints defense this week. i'm actually considering starting them over the jags. saints get st. louis this week, and then houston, carolina, and tampa bay the next 3.

^Be weary this week. STL coming off a BYE with half the NO DL questionable this week(no Brian Young) and Steven Jackson back and all the WR's back for STL. NO should win but I think it might be a shoot-out.

st. louis has given up the 5th most sacks this year with 25. they are tied with chicago for most picks thrown at 16. the rams are only averaging 289.4 yds/game and 12.4 pts/game.

and the jags haven't exactly been phenomenal on D in recent weeks, and with stroud's suspension beginning this week i'm a little concerned.

i think the saints will get an early jump on the rams and have a solid lead throughout the game which will force bulger to throw, and that's not something he's done that well this season. i'm still leaning towards the saints here but am definitely open to comments/suggestions from anyone that has any opinions about that.

and yes brees is the right start. cleveland is pitiful against the run as well and parker will surely have a good day. ben will probably throw for 200-250 yards and 2-3 td's, but i'd be surprised to see him have more than 25 attempts. brees has been on fire for the saints winning streak and is almost a lock to throw it 40 times. i expect he'll end up somewhere around 300-350 yards and 3+ TD's.

^Go Dunn. He had a good week last week and Pitt's run D is awesome.

I have Jamal and he is sitting for me in favor of Priest Holmes. Jamal had 33 points I know but only had 37 yards.

^^Bulger is back and going to be in a shootout with the Saints....Losman isnt a bad choice either.

Isn't Gore still hurt? I am taking a flier on Priest....hopefully he gets a TD and a few yards.

What is Chad Johnson's status? If he is hurt, is it worth a risk to pick up Henry?

yes, definitely. pick up henry if he's still there. he was gone in my league last week

for my flex position i picked up maurice morris and selvin young. both s. alexander and t. henry are hurt. but who to start?

maurice morris vs. san fran OR
selvin young vs. kansas city

You better make sure because Young would be pointless if he doesn't start.

Morris has the better matchup. SF sucks. KC has a decent defense.

I would if I knew he was going to play a lot and especially if Chad is down.

I picked up Smith from KC and on a gut feeling I'm starting him this week. My other RBs are Jamal Lewis, Rudi Johnson and Grant from GB, none which have a favorable matchup this week.

KC is playing Denver and Priest Holmes is old so we'll see. Edwards says Smith will get some touches...

I just traded Santonio Holmes for Brett Favre

I drafted Leinhart...dropped him for Garrard...dropped him for musical QBs...my current QB was Losman

My other receivers are Chad Johnson, Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Bowe

thoughts?

good move IMO. Farve's a definite upgrade over any of those. you have a good receiver corps.

derrick ward was just dropped, so i can claim him on waivers. is it worth dropping Ryan Grant to pick up Ward?

who are the saints playing this week? I'd probably go with Brees if Marvin Harrison and Dallas Clark are both out this week

I hope I'm wrong cause I have Peyton starting for me, but I also dont have the luxury of Brees on my bench

Pick 3:

Kevin Curtis @ Was
Brandon Stokley @ KC
Devin Hester @ Oak (we get return yards/tds so he's pretty much a lock this week)
Deion Branch vs. SF
Chris Henry @ Bal

my WRs suck
