alright, should I start Pierre Thomas @ Chicago over Joseph Addai at home against the Lions?
I have Drew Brees and Matt Forte starting already, so I'm nervous about starting three players from the same Thursday night game... 12/11/2008 2:12:13 PM |

You almost have to go with Thomas, simply because I'm not sure whether or not Addai is going to play on Sunday. 12/11/2008 3:36:56 PM |

Dear God!!! Even the Guru is baffled here.
My heart is saying start Colston but my head is saying go with the hot WR's in a PPR league.
Look at this lineup....$1k to the winner.
$1k to the winner..
I REPEAT.
$1k to the winner.
1 QB, 3 WR's, 2 RB's, 1 TE....etc
10 yards for 1pt rush/receiving, 0.5 points per reception
QB - Kurt Warner (Ari - QB) Min Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR) Det Davone Bess (Mia - WR) SF Steve Breaston (Ari - WR) Min DeAngelo Williams (Car - RB) Den Clinton Portis (Was - RB) @Cin Tony Gonzalez (KC - TE) SD Marques Colston (NO - WR) @Chi
Steven Jackson (StL - RB) Sea Warrick Dunn (TB - RB) @Atl Dominic Rhodes (Ind - RB) Det Deion Branch (Sea - WR) @StL
HOOK A BROTHA UP!!! 12/11/2008 5:04:57 PM |

At RB, I'd go with DeAngelo and Portis. At WR, I'd go Wayne, Breaston, and Bess.
Now, once again:
Quote : | "Ok, playoff time, and I could use a little help:
QB: Big Ben Vs. Baltimore Schaub Vs. Tennessee Garrard Vs. Green Bay
WR (Pick 2) Vincent Jackson Vs KC DeSean Jackson Vs. Cleveland Lee Evans Vs Buffalo Davone Bess Vs SF
I'm pretty sure about Vincent Jackson, but my main issue is Bess vs DeSean. I'm leaning slightly toward Bess, since the Dolphins don't really have anyone else besides Ted Ginn at receiver. " |

^^ Panthro I would definitely start Williams and of course Warner, as your 2nd RB is concerned I would wait up until game time Sunday to see if Addai is going to play or not, because if not Rhodes could be due for a very big day against the Lions.
For wide receiver you have to start Reggie Wayne. I would honestly start Deion Branch, he showed what he can do last week, and that was against the Pats with Seneca Wallace throwing him the ball, so I start him this week against the awful Rams defense. Third WR I start is Colston, call me crazy but for some reason I think that he will have a big game tonight, and to be honest I would feel more comfortable starting him than either Bess or Breaston. 12/11/2008 7:23:53 PM |

Billyboy, as far as your Qb's are concerned, you're basically screwed, but I would probably start Schaub as they will more than likely be behind the whole game and forced to pass the ball therefore racking up nice numbers.
WR: Vincent Jackson is a definite start, and the rest are a toss up, but I might give DeSean Jackson the start b/c Cleveland's secondary sucks and he doesn't have JP Losman throwing him the ball. 12/11/2008 7:26:25 PM |

Yeah, I'm not thrilled either. Garrard is playing an awful D, but has nobody to throw to. Big Ben is playing Baltimore...enough said. I'm leaning toward Schaub as well, which is why I picked him off the waiver wires. As for WR, I'm still leaning toward Bess, but DeSean Jackson is certainly getting consideration. The only thing that concerns me there is what Cleveland did against Indy 2 weeks back. I did win thanks to them.12/11/2008 11:06:59 PM |

Garcia is banged up a bit make sure you keep your eye on him. ------------------------------------------------- Defense should I go with my Cards vs Minn or my Cowboys vs Giants?? -------------------------------------------------------- also WR Kevin Walter vs Tenn or Hines Ward at Baltimore?
I know I think Im screwed either way. ---------------------------------------------------- good thing though is Deangelo has single handedly brought me within striking distance of finishing top 3 in my league. 12/12/2008 1:24:51 PM |

You might want to pick up a new D...those are both pretty shitty, but i kinda wanna say the cowboys with jacobs out, plax out, they might be a little down. And I'd probably stick with Hines Ward.
Ok, 1QB and 1RB..
David Garrard vs GB Matt Ryan vs TB
LenDale White @ Hou Derrick Ward @ Dal

Tough call; I'd roll w/ the Redskins, but that's just me. Both are good plays.
Damn the game time decision injuries!
I have Gore who is listed as a game time decision. I picked up Dominic Rhodes since I had some free space, but I see Addai is a game time decision as well (both games are at 1). Since it is the playoffs I can't really gamble by leaving Gore in, so:
Rhodes vs Detroit or Sammy Morris @ Oak
also (pick one): J Cotch vs Buffalo Kevin Walter vs Tenn Isaac Bruce @ Miami

Redskins....Baltimore has actually been scoring lately. Cincy's not getting better they are garbage and the safe play.
^That's tough, Jennings hasn't been as good as in the first of the year. Bruce could have nothing too, he is a risky play. The safe plays to me are Bowe and Jennings....you know they will get points.12/14/2008 3:16:38 AM |

Jets v Buffalo Minn @ Ari Tampa @ Atl Miami v SF
Leaning toward Jets and Miami now that Gore is probably not starting. I know Warner has been a turnover machine lately but I'm expecting that game to be far higher scoring. Right now I have Jets and Minnesota starting, anyone else think I should go with Miami instead? 12/14/2008 10:53:02 AM |

^^I'd go Jets and Miami.
The Fins play really well at home and should get up early.
add that to no Gore, which throws their offensive scheme COMPLETELY off and Joey Porter out for blood, I imagine a big day, with a punt/kickoff return very likely.
Buffalo just sucks, so you have to start NYJ.

I would say Stewart, Grant and Ward. My only concern with Ward is that while he is starting, I wonder if he is going to actually get 20 carries, or if its going to be a big split. 12/14/2008 11:08:34 AM |

Out of Stewart, Grant, and Stewart - which 2 would you start definitely

Campbell is the safe play because of Nmandi but you never know with Cassel he can still get it to Welker and Faulk if Moss is shut down. Cassel might be worth the risk. 12/14/2008 12:51:29 PM |
