lol looks like you have the same fate as me, and no one wants to give you any help
Anyway, I would say Keller is the guy there as Houston's pass defense is horrendous, but I also like Lewis this week. I'm starting one in one league, and the other in my other league. Gut check for you, though, I'd say Keller. I think Lewis is more risk/reward based.
as for your running backs, I'd rather stick my hand in a blender than have to pick between those 3... ugh... I don't trust Wells or Portis with their injury struggles, and Lynch... well he is Lynch. Maybe one of the other Guru's can weigh in on it. Also, is it PPR?11/19/2010 8:25:14 AM |

word, this league is an anomaly to me, I'm doing great in my 3 other leagues. I blame it on Matt Schaub, Brandon Marshall and Cedric Benson
and I came in here to post that I just heard Mike Williams (TB) was arrested last night/this morning for a DWI. Dont know if it will affect his playing time this week, but its something to monitor
Quote : | "ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that the Bucs will start rookie WR Mike Williams in Week 11 despite his Friday morning DUI arrest. Schefter spoke to Bucs sources early Friday, and they don't sound concerned with the arrest. Williams was reportedly pulled over for going 12 MPH over the limit. He volunteered to take the field sobriety test, and was deemed to have failed by police officers. Assuming he wasn't on drugs (and it doesn't sound like he was), it's not difficult to imagine that the cops had it out for him. Williams' blood-alcohol content was significantly under the legal limit. " |

Thanks to the Bears' red zone issues I got a productive week out of Gould.
My gut tells me Vick is a must-start, but I am at least considering playing Flacco versus the awful Panthers. Of course, it could get so ugly they stop passing the ball and pull Flacco VERY early. The Giants D is tough but I expect Vick will continue to be productive, and I don't have to worry about him getting pulled (unless he is injured) or the Eagles to stop throwing the ball.
Also monitoring the Floyd situation very closely. I need to pick 2 of Fitzgerald, Floyd, Crayton, and L. McCoy. No way I am benching MJD, Run DMC, or DeShawn Jackson.
Also I will start Tamme if he plays, and have Gronkowski as insurance. 11/19/2010 9:54:51 AM |

^The Panthers pass D really isn't that bad...I'd go Vick.
Orton (vs SD) or Flacco (vs CAR)? I'm thinking I gotta go Orton....right?

Flacco is a safer play. Orton has been awesome, but the Chargers D, at home on MNF could be trouble for him. They have given up only 8 passing TDs all year.
Kitna vs Det or Freeman @ SF or T Smith vs Tampa?
Pick 2: Jamaal Charles vs Arizona Felix Jones vs Det Mike Tolbert vs Den Brandon Jackson vs Minn 11/19/2010 1:17:58 PM |

Freeman for consistency or Kitna for roll-the-dice possibility of getting more points.
Charles a must, and maybe Tolbert if Matthews is out...

I made this trade last week and it's coming under question:
I get: Andre Johnson I give: Matt Ryan, Benjarvis Green-Ellis, Lee Evans
I made it with someone who has been awful and desperately needed a better QB and RB, but hadn't given up on the season yet. My reasoning was it was probably in my favor, but someone on the path to not making the playoffs has got to try something to change their course.
What do you guys think? 11/19/2010 2:10:46 PM |

Fuck anyone who veto's a trade that isn't ABSOLUTELY unfair or clear collusion.
I'm talking Arian Foster for Jake Delhomme level unfair.

^ I agree fuck the veto unless clear collusion has occurred.
I just did a trade (give Jennings/Best get Chris Johnson) and one of my buddies just texted me to tell me he was going to veto it. The trade was proposed to me. This is bullshit. 11/19/2010 3:02:18 PM |

dude, I'm starting Michael Vick over Aaron Rodgers this week. You cant bench Vick after putting up 6 total TDs last week, no matter how good you think the other defense is. Washingtons defense isnt great, but they arent the Bills either. According to Merrill Hoge on ESPN, he thinks the Redskins played as good of defense as you could play against the Eagles last week, Vick was just exploiting anything they gave him.
so yeah, starting Vick over Flacco is a no-brainer. Unless you really do believe the Giants will either a) shut down Vick or b) injure Vick early before he can put up any numbers.11/19/2010 3:02:26 PM |

Eli or Matt Schaub? I'm leaning toward Eli...but not positive.
And at WR I've got Mike Williams (TB), Mike Wallace, Miles Austin, and Lance Moore...I'm guessing sit Moore this week and see how his role changes now that Reggie Bush is back. That sound right to you guys? 11/19/2010 3:18:36 PM |

You're damn right they aren't the Bills. The Bills are the #26 ranked defense in the league. The Redskins? Dead last, giving up an average of 415 yards per game. Speaking of rankings, the Giants have the top-rated defense in the league. There is a big difference between beating up on the #32 defense and the #1 D.
I wouldn't bench Vick for Flacco, but I would bench him for Rodgers. Vick is not a slam-dunk by any means against the Giants. Don't be surprised if he struggles.

I'm REALLY tempted to sit Arian Foster in one of my leagues (not yours Brett)
I have Chris Johnson and Fred Jackson as my other two. Clearly Johnson gets the nod every week but with CJ Spiller out and Jackson getting 25-30 carries (Cincy isnt the best defense either) im torn.
Am I losing my mind? Can you actually sit Arian foster for Fred fucking Jackson?? 11/20/2010 11:13:19 AM |

Holmes v Houston Floyd v Denver Ocho v Buffalo

^^tough one, I could see them all having big games and I could also see them all shitting the bed. I think I would bench Holmes. I think Floyd will have a good game this week, especially if Gates doesnt play. Ocho has a good matchup against the Bills secondary, and this game could be kinda close with the way the Bills have been showing up lately.
I could make a case to start Holmes as well (I actually changed my post to switch Holmes with Ocho) since he has a good matchup against the Texans and he has put up decent numbers over the last couple of weeks. I just have a hard time trusting Sanchez and could see Holmes putting up a 4 reception for 32 yard kinda game.
who would you guys start as your RB2? (I have Frank Gore as my RB1, and this is a non-ppr league)
Lesean McCoy vs NYG (tough matchup and has shoulder injury - even though he has practiced fine all week) Fred Jackson @ Cincy (was last week a fluke? Spiller is out so he should touch the ball a ton) Keiland Williams @ Tenn (Portis and Torain are banged up) Mike Goodson vs. Balt (we get 1pt for every 20 kickoff/punt return yards) Donald Brown vs. NE (Addai and Hart are OUT) 11/20/2010 8:49:42 PM |

Ryan Mathews is hurt (again....or is it still?) so Tolbert will be the man on MNF. Schaub just had surgery this week so he cant be 100%, and hes playing the Jets in NY 11/20/2010 11:12:28 PM |

^^^^Keep in mind Goodson did not return kicks last week, I guess because he was starting RB, so expect the same this week. ugh... I hate WR's- I am gonna bring up the idea of a flex spot instead of 3 WR's next year (tolbert would totally be getting the start in that case)
anyway, pick 1: (PPR and return yards count: 20 for rec, 30 for return point)
Brandon Tate vs Indy - he didn't practice Friday due to an "illness" and will be a game time decision Steve Smith (Car) vs Baltimore - ugh, what a waste of a high pick he was Sidney Rice vs GB - he was just activated, but I don't know how much time he'll actually get... could be 90% of the game, could be just 1 series- i'd love to play him, but I don't wanna get burned 11/21/2010 8:12:54 AM |

spurlock is good for return... I am not sold on the other of the other receivers... I mean Moore is in a "receiver by committee" situation (which sucks for colston owners). You never know if he is gonna get it, but always could have a good game. I think if you want guaranteed points, go spurlock, but if you want the risk/reward, go with moore 11/21/2010 10:09:54 AM |
