man i just felt like an IDIOT. this WHOLE TIME i thought the client had signed her settlement memo and picked up her check b/c he was in SUCH a hurry to finish it all out before the christmas holiday and he was rushing up here with the documents and checks the day i was leaving b/c i was sick and all and she was coming in that day. i even asked last week had she come in to pick up and two people said yes!!!! when she HADN'T...............geezus h christ

Well, I got ready for school and left my apartment then proceeded to fall down the stairs outside. I drove to work to try to make it through the day but they told me that I needed to go to the emergency room. A substitute was called in and I left for urgent care- where I spent 4 hours. The doctor took x-rays of my femur, foot, and forearm. He decided nothing is broken (thank God) but everything is sprained, bruised and swolen. I learned how to walk on crutches then left my prescriptions at CVS, got some food and checked the mail. Now I'm home, sitting with my foot elevated and watching tv- trying to feel okay.
