Play-off spot clinched after 1 more win? Oh wait, it doesn't matter since the Panthers are going to win out and finish off the season by ass raping that bitch Michael Vick. Panthers win against the Steelers in the big game 24-21.

^^Steelers?

They won't be in the SB. They are gonna have to win out just to have a shot at the playoffs.

Why is my credibility dwindling away? Because I picked teh Giants today?

WOW, i picked a 2 point favorite and they lost.. WOW im an idiot.

Remember, i took Carolina yesterday when everyone else and their brother picked State.

THe Giants played like pure shit, the Panthers are still a pretty average team.

The whole NFC is average. Seattle and Carolina happen to be near the top of average.

I dont see as how that was a gutsy move in the slightest. I knew for a fact we would lose that game, not because i know what our players eat for breakfast, but because i have a fucking brain.

ok rally, i know you pride yourself on being as objective as possible, but its ok to show a little homerism every now and then. from my objective standpoint, the panthers are the most dangerous team in the nfl. when all the parts are clicking, they are virtually unbeatable. now, whether the parts are clicking is another story, but they are certainly not "average"

Jake Delhomme - had playoff experience - won yesterday
Eli Manning - no playoff experience - lost yesterday
Ben Roth... - had playoff experience - won yesterday
Carson Palmer - no playoff experience - lost yesterday
Tom Brady - plenty of playoff experience - won Saturday
Byron Leftwich - not much playoff experience if any - lost Saturday
Mark Brunell - had playoff experience - won Saturday
Chris Simms - no playoff experience - lost Saturday

and Eli Manning says "Playoff experience is overrated"...what a fucking dumbass

ps: Rex Grossman: never a starter in the playoffs

i wouldn't exactly say that Carson Palmer lost yesterday

well, i guess he DID lose about 4 months of his offseason

yeah thats kind of the outlier but still

btw Leftwich had no playoff experience before Saturday, further illustrating my point

^btw, i think its really fucked up that the Jags didnt start Garrard.

They had won 4 of thier last 5 with him. I dont hink Del Rio gave his team the best chance to win.

Either way they would have lost, but Garrard had been playing great.

yeah thats a tough call...its KIND OF similar to grossman vs orton...but we'll see how that goes

I dont think its that similar because Orton really sucked this season. The Bears won in spite of that guy.

Garrard played alright, nothing special. In his five starts look at the teams they played for gods sake...

btw, im with tree on this playoff experience means a lot.

Look at Roethlisberger he played like complete dogshit last year in the playoffs.

If you need to know how to pick playoff winners, make sure you read the Playoff Manifesto, there's great info in it.

the reason I think its similar to Orton and Grossman is because Grossman has never been any kind of star QB himself...all the Bears fans think he is better for their offense...what does he have, a total of 6 or 7 career starts and no playoff experience? He's played LESS than ORTON...the Bears still have a good chance though because they just dont throw the ball much...its not like Grossman is gonna come in and toss up 300 passing yards...he was inconsistent at Florida and he has been injured and mediocre at best in the NFL...but if the Panthers can keep tabs on Thomas Davis and Peterson like they did with Barber, the Carolina 2ndary might actually have a chance to defend a pass play

Steve Smith is just too raw to be stopped.

I don't see how he won MVP; he sure seems to be the most valuable player to his team.
