top spin 1 was great so i imagine 2 is good.

im thrown between buying fight night 3 or table tennis. i kinda get bored of sports games quickly, but they do offer the best audience for multiplayer either locally or online. graw was a posibility too or maybe nba 2k6, but much more unlikely.

ive got: oblivion, perfect dark 0, and doa4. anyone have any suggestions for a new game?

i'll give you a quick summary/rating of the games i have if i can remember them all

Burnout Revenge: A fucking plus...awesome graphics, seamless, countless game modes, great online
Top Spin 2: great tennis game and i'm not a big tennis fan, good replayability, party game modes
Fight Night Round 3: maybe the best sports game graphics on 360...very fun, replay is good...i played for about a month straight when i got it
Madden: rushed to market, but great graphics...definitely worth it if you love football
NBA 2K6: unbelievable graphics...many of my nba-hater friends love this game...plus has an in depth one on one mode for a change
Perfect Dark: havent played much but great graphics
Condemned: havent played much but great graphics
Call of Duty 2: A+ nothing bad about this game, will not disappoint if you like any type of WWII FPS
Tiger Woods: great golf game, only drawback is only 6 courses but lots of 360 extras to make up for it
Blazing Angels: really sweet pilot game ww2 era, about 50 planes, good effects and audio
Quake: havent played much but great graphics
Project Gotham Racing: phenomenal graphics, tons of cars, great online mode, top notch game
MLB 2K6: a few glitches here and there that suck, but other than that an awesome game...im more into bball and football sports games but this game is great
Tomb Raider: real nice...great graphics...gameplay similar to "old" tomb raider games...pleasantly surprising
Tony Hawk: American Wasteland: another genre i'm not usually into but that was great for 360...no load time, plenty of replayability, pretty fun, live games have zero lag time

i have a couple more but i cant recall right now...also go into xbox live marketplace and download some demos to see if you like the games before you buy them

also one of the best downloadable games imo is Marble Blast Ultra (think Marble Madness meets HDTV)

i really think 360 is going to be ahead of the ps3 for a long time. when i bought the 360 on launch day i never thought about all the stuff they could do it such as like adding on the hd-dvd drive or updating the bios or whatever. i gotta tell ya, its cool stuff.

There are 2 updates for the Live software a year. This new one youre looking at hasn't been released but will soon. It will allow the queuing of downloads as well as more than one at a time, and if you jump in a game it will automatically pause and then resume when you're done so you won't lag.

first thoughts of the update? it was aight...the option to set your box to initially read from Disc or go right to Dashboard is cool...organized achievements a little different...new look and approach to the download menus...i had already downloaded plenty of things so i didnt even test out simultaneous queued downloads...but i did read that during a multiplayer online game, everyones downloads are paused til teh game is over...thats good...also they now have the options for the soon-to-be-released xbox360 camera...dunno...still cant use your custom soundtracks for different things in MLB 2K6...why cant I have Ghostface blare out of the Metrodome speakers when Torri Hunter comes up to bat?

I picked up Need for Speed and Blazing Angels this week. I agree with everyone, Need for Speed is fucking great.

Blazing Angels is the WWII flying game. The flying isn't totally realistic, but the game has a great arcade feel to it. Its one of my favorites.

i finally broke 1mil on GW.. the top two guys have 100mil+. thats impressive.

i got marble blast a while back.. went through all the levels, but still need to find all the easter eggs.

Mutant Storm Reloaded is really fun too. Its an awesome 1 or 2 player shooter.
