It's not a tear or a break


Remember, he did tear his ACL/MCL a few years ago. I, personally, was praying he didn't break some bone in his foot or something... the kid has had some bad luck.


They said it was his foot... but for some reason I kept getting the feeling it was him reinjuring that knee.


Negative X-rays mean a sprain only.... he'll miss very little time... if at all. With a break or ligament tear, he'd be out for the year (career)

To clarify.... Herb just said "preliminary" X-rays were negative.... but they're taking Ilian right now to have an MRI just to be safe.



Looks like he'll be okay, but it's not official yet... although it's sounding positive.


He'll probably be a little tender and rusty for the next game (Doubt he'll practice this week... may not play next game... my opinion only...but I'm not a doctor and I've been drinking)

it was pretty much bs. He thought he tied up the ball and they called a foul. He said one thing and got T'd up. It was an immediate call, so it wasnt like he was complaining for a long time.

I just want to know where the heck our team has been for the last month. They finally showed up again in the last 8 minutes of the first half.

Our complete lack of ability to break a press is frightening. I really hope that teams don't start doing it to us regularly. It's something I could see Duke doing to take us apart.

Fells needs to play more. McCauley as well. I'd like each of them to get about 5 minutes a game. I'm worried that if we have people get in serious foul trouble or if we have an injury (ex. Evtimov), we need to have people who can give us some minutes. Fells in particular played well tonight.

It was also great to see Simmons not fouling all over the place. When was the last time he got 30 minutes? January? It's because he's been getting a lot of dumb fouls. And amazingly enough, playing 30 minutes gets you 14 points. I hope this means he's back as well.

Engin waved off the ref's call and said something, which I guess was enough for a T. Interestingly enough, the ref that called the T was not the ref that called the original foul.

Other great moments in officiating include when one ref called an offensive on Brackman, the other called a defensive foul on the same play, and after a quick consultation, they called a travel.

ced does well by trying not to block the ball into the upper deck every time. Just stay under control and stop the ball (like shewill). Better chance at a rebound, too.

Yeah how in the world did they get a travel when they both signaled fouls??? Shouldn't that have been a double foul on both players? Also I like when they only gave FSU 1 free throw and we get the rebound and get fouled and then they realized that he was suppossed to get 2 shots. ACC referrees.

Sabatination, sarijoul and vinylbandit I'm with ya'll on this one. i go to all of the games that I can. i hate all of the bandwagon fucks that go only to the UNC and Duke games. i really wanted to do campout, but i had to go out of town. oh well i can always stay up late and try during the on-demand period. i was able to get 3 tickets to the UNC football game this year by doing that.
