put bledsoe in during the 4th quarter if you want a chance to win the game

keeping romo in means you've accepted defeat to test drive romo

this switching qb shit pisses me off more than anything else

that's a pretty good comparion. they're both decently mobile. they have capable abilities, but make some decisions and wacky throws here and there.

When will Tiki Barber hit paydirt?

This is worse than the Browns, because in NY somebody else is doing all the scoring...

Giants need to go ahead and beat the Bucs, destroy the Texans, and then go ahead and take out Chicago to take our place as #1 in the NFC. This one is ours to lose.

In case you missed it, semi-literate blowhard Michael Irvin called Tiki Barber a "quitter" and a distraction from his team for deciding to retire after this season. Well, Tiki may smile a lot and seem like a nice guy, but he's not afraid to call a spade a shovel. He fired back at some of his detractors in the media:

"I will call them 'idiots' because they have neither spoken to me nor any one of my teammates or any of my coaches, yet all they do is criticize me for being a distraction with this retirement thing."

Yes, but who are you talking about, Tiki?

"That includes New York Daily News columnist Gary Myers, that includes Tom Jackson on ESPN, that includes the ultimate character guy, facetiously speaking, of course, Michael Irvin (of ESPN), please get a clue how to be a journalist. Don't make blanket assumptions about it (retirement). And obviously, as was evidence (Monday) night, I am a huge distraction to the New York Giants."

How do you watch games online? this would be really helpful when we have to watch the panthers and another crappy team from the nfc south play.

ugly game, glad to get the win

typical playing down to the competition that we always seem to do a couple times a year

also, is there anybody that ISN'T banged up?

you know how injuries came and bit us in the ass last year

We'll have to meet up sometime before the game and start some shit with the Panther's fans. They won't even try to defend themselves. Nothing like in Jersey.

Anyway, good game for the GMen yesterday, handling the Texans with 7 starters not playing. Defintely some stupid mistakes made and things that need to be taken care of before the big game this weekend. We control our own destiny at this point. Beat the Bears ans have the #1 seed in the NFC. Lets keep this thing going.

Bad news. Strahan out 2-8 weeks with mid-foot sprain. Doesn't look good for him.

As much as I don't like the G-Men (Cowboys fan), I think they will beat the Bears on SNF. I think the tandem of Barber and Jacobs will be too much for them. That's my opinion.

Giants WR Toomer done for year with partial ACL tear
By Len Pasquarelli
ESPN.com

Eleven-year veteran wide receiver Amani Toomer, the New York Giants' career leader in receptions and receiving yards, will miss the rest of the season after doctors discovered a partial tear to the anterior cruciate ligament.

Toomer, 32, suffered the injury in last Sunday's 14-10 victory over the Houston Texans, but is not certain at what point in the game the injury occurred. He will undergo surgery in coming days, and the Giants expect him to be fully rehabilitated well in advance of training camp next summer.

Through eight games, Toomer is tied for the team lead in receptions, with 32.
