Heck, in my day you had to have a screwdriver to connect the console to the back of the tv. Games even came with a plastic insert that you slid into the controller that told you what buttons did what.

The price rumors have been all over the map. Everywhere from free with the purchase of 4 games to $250.

My guess is that the Wii will be priced the same as every other Nintendo console has been ever since the original NES - $200.

Yeah, a $150 price tag is hard to believe considering that's only $20 more than a DS lite. Unless of course they plan to drop the price of it around the same time, but highly unlikely seeing as the Lite is just 3 months old.

Either way, at least the rumors will all stop in 2 days

I would say 199... they would get a huge marketshare with that price, if it is 150 they will dominate. The graphics aren't great, but they're going back to gameplay... Which I love bc the new systems seem to to into graphics & it costs the consumer way to much. Improving gameplay is 10x better than improving graphics.

i dunno, the improved xbox live improves my gaming experience quite a bit. it is definately the best way to expand the fun of current gaming conventions. this new controller should be interesting though.

I'm so confused about the stupid time differences. But after looking at it further, it looks like the Japan show will start around 8pm our time tonight. But that doesn't mean we'll find out the American pricing (or the Japanese pricing either for that matter) We'll probably have to wait until tomorrow morning's US show for American pricing.
