last night was the first episode of 24 i've ever seen

i thought it was pretty ridiculous

but let me axe something, since this is the 6th season has every episode since the beginning taken place within the time frame of one week or was there a season that took place during a 24 hour period a year later or what?

i'll probably watch next week but i don't know if i have the time to rent/download and watch the previous seasons

I dunno, I have no problems watching shows and movies I download on my 65 inch HDTV. She'd probably like that a lot better. just a hunch.

Each season usually takes place a year or so after the last one. Definitely not sequential days. This season takes place 18 months after last season left off. It's definitely not necessary to watch all the previous seasons. You won't get the full effect of little details like Jack's brother was the ringleader of the bad guys last year, but even if you just watched last night's episode you got that he was a bad guy, and I think that's enough info.

9 years since he's seen his dad

his wife's funeral since he's seen his brother

Terry died at the end of the first season, but it's been more than 6 years i think

not every season has occured 1 year after the previous season, some have been more than 1 year i think...like this season maybe--how long did they say jack was in china?
