No this isn't the same as Dawn of the Dead, different storyline. Play the game and you'll see what I'm talking about. This has more of a back-story and less key characters. It's also a lot darker.

I got the 53,594 kills then died and saved my status, I just read that I have to finish the mode after getting the genocide. I have genocide saved under my profile do I unlock it if I just beat one of the modes again or do I have to kill that many fucking zombies again???

Rather the rest of the cases were expired by the time I got the genocide and it took me to the gameover screen and I saved so genocide is on my profile but I do not see the Real Mega Buster when I start a new game. Am I supposed to keep up with the other missions while I kill that many zombies or what?

you have to get 53,000+ kills then BEAT THE GAME WITH ANY ENDING.

if you let it go to game over, hopefully you saved it or all of your progress was lost.

i started my 3rd play through to do it. i got about 7k kills and was like...im really only doing this for the acheivment so why bother. i then shot down the copter in OT and quit. i had a good time with it, but i dont forsee playing it anymore.

So I got threw the first line of 4 cases. Got the last one completed, and it was to late for the second line of cases to start.........I mean, am I supposed to just ignore rescuing the people and go straight for all the main objectives?

And wtf are you supposed to go about the guys in the court yard with the jeep?

^get a machine gun from the fountain in Al Fresca Plaza...get a tree between you and the convicts...shoot the gunner in the head a few times to kill him...then kill the driver and other guy...go after the gunner first though

in regards to getting the cases on time...what level are you at? i couldnt really go all the way through until i got to about level 15...even then i had to restart a few times,/]

I managed to get to lvl 8 right before the end.

I mean, I got 4 cases done, and then when the 2nd set was my next goal it was already to late.

if you rescue David and his girl on the roof and get a picture of them hugging, then drop them off, go die, save status, repeat a couple times, you can get your level up fairly quickly

heres a tip also...when you get the notice that the amusement park ride is going crazy, kill that dude and get the chainsaws and the books mentioned earlier in this thread

Yeah the small chainsaws make it way too easy though. I recommend playing through the first time without picking them up, and then the second time through grab them. The first time through makes you appreciate the them so much more, haha.

everytime i played he only dropped 1, but htey respawn.

that said, i played through the entire game without restarting and was about lvl 20 when i finished. you dont need to level up, but you definately WILL NOT be able to save many people while doing it (i saved about 13-14ppl the first go round, over twice that many the 2nd time).

kill the clown...pick up the 1 chainsaw...then go over to the switch you were about to pull before you saw the clown...pull it...the roller coaster comes back into the station with a guy on there...a survivor to save...take a picture of him and talk to him...then the 2nd chainsaw is sitting there

1 always respawns at that spot whenever you leave wonderland plaza

still stuck on that fucker Carlito, saving the Professor (Mission 2-2 I think)...

I got the SMG, and one time took away all his health, but he still won't die. Or he runs away before I can finish him off. WTF? extremely frustrating.

he's gonna run away...you fight him multiple times and dont kill him...but i believe you just have to shoot him enough for him to run off before the professor dies...what level are you at?

I'm at Level 8 right now..everytime he runs away from me (and the scene plays where he jumps over the railing) it basically says the game is over.

I have shot him until he had no life left, but I think I died that time before he ran away. He always runs away (scene plays) at random times, when there is still time left on the mission and sometimes when he is cornered. It's such bullshit, I like that the game is difficult, but they shouldn't make it damn near impossible.

unfortunately, I have it saved at Level 8, so if I have to start the entire game over, just to beat this one part, I'm gonna be pissed.

What did I do wrong not to be at a higher level by this time? I only saved a handful of people, but I went through each of the missions (including that fucked up clown) and killed about 650 zeds.

well one of the things about this game is you kind of need to save your level after dying and restart a number of times to get a sufficient level...also IIRC, the last level is like 7-5 or something...2-2 isnt that far..might want to restart

if you do decide to restart, when you first go out on the roof and there is that one guy, take him over to the other side of the roof where his wife is...when they meet and hug, take a picture...big PP points to help yourself level up

yeah haha the first time i played through i got to where you first fight carlito in the food court and i beat him...then i got raped outside by the convicts i believe...you pretty much have to do some initial levelling up

It's possible to go through your first play without having to start over or anything. The parts are a bitch the first play-through but not impossible.

And the convicts are a pain in the ass, but after a while I got pretty good at taking them out and using the gun on the back of the jeep.

Right now I am stuck on mission 1-4 I believe, where Paul is in the security room waiting for something. I have no idea what I need to do to make him happy on that one.

if you're already in the security room (who is Paul?), then you have probably moved on to the mission where you have to wait until 6AM the next morning (image in the monitor). you can go fuck around in the mall for awhile.
