you cant play the latest one until you get the Code from the older ones.

You have to enter the code at the beginning of the new game.

Start with O of T, then M's M and so on.

Right down the Codes from all of the games after you beat them. Once you have done that, you can log onto the Wii game and proceed with the story.

I'd start now if I were you, those games take a while to master.

yeah.. that really wasn't even funny

i would say seeing as you have them, play through them in order.. it won't matter for each individual game whether you do that or not, but i'm sure it would be a worthwhile experience

before twilight princess came out, i just watched all the speed runs on youtube to get caught up on stuff

you mean, the Konami code doesn't work?

seriously though.... plot-wise, is there any advantage to playing the others first?

Ideally, I would have the patience to play through the others first....

But I just know that I will be playing through those with one eye, while the other eye stares at the Twilight Princess box....

IF there is substantial reason to hold off on TP though, I will.

The only thing that I can think of is that the combat in TP is SIGNIFICANTLY better. After playing TP and then trying OoT, I don't know if you would be too entralled with the difference.

That being said, OoT has much better plot, music, and boss battles (SO much better).

Yeah I was really impressed with the puzzles in that dungeon. All of the dungeons in this game are fantastic IMO.

Has anyone ever been able to open that chest over by the southern Hyrule entrance? It's on this big stone pedestal surrounded by a very small fountain and stone railing. I'm pretty sure it's just money, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get to it. I can't climb up because the the stone is too tall, I can't climb over the rails because the game won't let me, and as far as I can tell there's nothing to grapple to or blow up or anything. Frankly, I'm stumped.

grapple up onto the left tower if you are facing the entrance to hyrule. equip the spinner and rid the tracks, when you get right in the middle activate the spinner and it will eject you outwards into the pond. i believe if i remember correctly its an orange rupee

Not sure if you got this one...But there's a cat on the upper ledge in the building right across from the old lady's house. You have to go to the top of the building next to it to get to it. Go around back, and break the window as Link, then turn into a wolf and dash-jump over, and it's sitting right there by the window.

Over by the entance to the snowy mountain area, the place with all the ice bergs in the lake, has anybody noticed that the lake seems to flow somewhere south? On the overhead map it looks to me like it's the beginning of a new river, but I can never get over there because as soon as I jump in the water I freeze. Is it just my imagination that it's a river, or is this potentially an area that got left out in the final product?

are there other Zelda games where you can shoplift other than TP and Link's Awakening?

(for those who don't know, you can steal Red Potion and Oil from the bird's shop outside the Forest Temple)

haha, i hated doing that in LA b/c you would be called THIEF the rest of the game...

and i'm pretty sure in the storyline it said that the water from snowpeak flowed to zora's river, domain, or somewhere....

Cave of Ordeals wasn't nearly as hard for me as I thought it would be. I had to use some blue potion but I held onto the the fairy tears.

Just beat the game...
Hyrule castle was awesome, just wish it would have been longer...

and the final fight (with its many parts) was amazing...

great ending as well...

I hope the twilight princess makes an appearance in another zelda game someday

I think you're talking about the woman in Kakariko Village who calls the guards because Link has been accused of kidnapping Zelda.

I haven't found it to be too difficult, but I only play long enough to get the frog lure. I haven't even tried to advance past level 3-1.

can someone help me

I am at the lake looking for the tears

I have 2 more insects to find

1 is in the castle which i havent gone to yet

the other is in the south eastern most part of the map

I have no idea how to get there it is in the main part of the lake after going over a stone bridge i come to a ladder and have no clue how to get up there I have looked at a bunch of guides and still cant find it

keep looking, i found it on my own so i know you can eventually find it... it's past the bridge near the overhanging rocks, sitting on a rock wall or something, not actually at the stone gate... unless you already got that one.

the other one is at the north end of the bridge and just takes some listening to find

i cant get there

it isnt on the mini ingame map but it shows up on the fullscreen map

I have spent at least 1.5 hours trying to get there from all ways possible

it is in the furthest south east corner possible and there is a ladder that leads up to it

(maybe its not one i am supposed to get yet?)

Yeah I was scratching my head about that last one for at least two hours. Finally I just said "fuck it, I'll get the rest and try again tomorrow." After I get the fourteenth one, lo and behold Midna tells me that I can finally get to the last one. That's some bullshit eight ways to Sunday imo, but at least I could finally move on.
