Dr. Cox is bald again. Does that mean in the next episode he'll have a full head of hair again?

I was happy to see jill tracey again, if only for a second. I always thought her death last season was really cheap for such a long time recurring character.

^^^ Yeah, not sure why they moved that clip show out of order, it broke the continuity. Something else must've come up on another network that would have killed a real new episode in the ratings so they switched it up... only thing I can figure.

hahahahaah!

sorry I was thinking the same thing during the show. well more like "wait wait something new?"

was I the only person who didnt care Leverne died? I mean if they wanted shock, kill the Todd or Kleso or someone important. Leverne was cool but not essiential to a good seperate plot.

Yesterday's was okay. I did like the Elliot/Keith plot, as it works out for those characters.

By the way, this is kind of old news, but some might not know, Season 5 comes out on DVD May 22:

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=6963

And from Zach Braff's website:
Quote :
"We just wrapped the 6th season of Scrubs!!!! Fear not, when we ended there were about 9 episodes finished waiting for their chance to air. Yes I have signed up for another year. Although tales of my new “arrangement” have not been very accurate. Needless to say, I am in and it will happen as long as NBC renews us for another season; which they have yet to do. ABC which actually owns the show (through Touchstone) has said that if NBC doesn’t pick it up, they will for what would be the final season. So, I feel pretty optimistic that it will happen. All the actors and writers want it to happen."

I hope so. I just don't want all of season 7 to deal with ANOTHER wedding/marriage storyline, and they can't just sweep it under the rug.

at least everyone isn't going to be pregnant anymore, that sucked.

I'm curious if JD is gonna run into his baby momma by the end of the season, because that is a storyline that definitely could go somewhere.

And I fucking love the Janitor <3 <3 <3

NBC hints at 'Scrubs' demise
Promos being kept deliberately vague
By JOSEF ADALIAN

NBC may be sending out a subtle message to viewers that "Scrubs" could soon be sent to the morgue -- at least on the Peacock.

During Monday's "Heroes," the net aired a promo hyping "the final episodes" of "Scrubs." A spot last week warned that there were "just four episodes left."

While countdowns are common this time of year, nets usually make it clear that they're talking about the number of segs left before a season finale. But the "Scrubs" promos make no mention of a finale, instead letting auds infer the show could be on its last legs.

NBC isn't commenting, but insiders said the promos are being kept deliberately vague because the show's fate is up in the air. Net doesn't want to flatly state the skein is over, since there's a shot it could be back.

Peacock execs have said they won't make a decision on whether to renew "Scrubs" until after they're done screening their pilots and deciding which shows to bring back.

Working in favor of "Scrubs": Show has been a reliable ratings warhorse for the net, despite very little promotion and ever-shifting timeslots (this week's episode begins at the head-scratching time of 9:19 p.m.).

Making the show a longshot for renewal is its very high pricetag. Series star Zach Braff also recently inked a megabucks deal with producer ABC Television Studio, making the cost even more prohibitive.

ABC Entertainment prexy Steve McPherson, who helped develop "Scrubs," has said he'd be interested in the show if NBC passes. The Braff deal, however, could make the show too expensive even for ABC, insiders said.

Whatever happens, don't be surprised if a deal goes down to the wire.

NBC's option to renew "Scrubs" doesn't expire until the day after the Alphabet presents its fall sked on May 15. That means ABC might not be able to pick up the show until after its upfront presentation. "

Doesnt sound good. The show has been down this year for sure, but its still better than a lot of the other crap on TV. Plus it deserves a proper sendoff that it wont get if its cancelled...its never had great numbers, but its had a faithful audience that has followed it around from timeslot to timeslot.

nbc continues to try and fit all comedy-type shows on thursday. There are plenty of other time slots on other days to put some of these shows.

How in the hell can CSI Albuquerque make it, but not an original comedy like this?

It completely baffles me that just about every show I like gets canned in favor of something infinitely stupider and more insulting to my intelligence. goddamnit.

I want to know if they'd release the extra episodes if they only showed one more (like they did with The Black Donnellys).

And I kinda hope the Janitor steps up with some game for Elliott, because he talked about marrying her awhile ago and Keith VS Janitor would be hilarious.

The problem with NBC is for Scrubs they say lets try all of them. This season it has aired at 9, 9:30 on Thursday. Some nights it wasn't even on so they could play their failed comedy of the week. Then at random they have played it at 9:20, 9:35, etc. Not mentioning when they didn't bring the show back until November and then played back to back episodes on Tuesday nights. Fuckers.

this only happens when NBC has 3 shows to air instead of 4

they claim "extended" episodes...more like extended commercials

NBC is cheap
