i agree. this episode was pretty boring with the exception of a few scenes. i really enjoyed the season opener...let's hope the season continues on par with that one rather than this most recent episode.

while i'm on a roll...

i don't think they can leave the island in their current state...they may have some sort of contact with the outside world (even if its only one way) but i don't think they come and go as they please

ben wanted the sail boat because they probably only had motor boats

and if that's the case and they know how to get off the island, then the motor boats would run out of fuel before they ever got anywhere. with a sail boat they can go anywhere.

possibly...then again maybe not...maybe they don't have any fuel at all and the boats are run off of generators or something

but that's as far as i'm willing to go as to why he wants the sail boat
