Yeah, Hamilton catches the ball, steps back, and shoots a 3 in .6 seconds. I could fast forward the tape, and it would take longer than that. This could only happen in Durham or Chapel Hill.

when did i argue .6 ran out? i was only saying how do you know and extra 1.6 didn't run off before or after the play that cut it to 3. the video you guys made showed me that hamilton caught the ball stepped back with each foot then shot. thats a travel so if you want to be really picky and say duke wouldn't have won if blah blah blah they put too much time wah wah wah then i'm gonna point out that its all moot anyway cuz he traveled and they didn't see that either but the biggie is duke still had to score no matter how much time was put back on.

^ Stop making fucking excuses. Clemson got screwed period. I didn't make excuses for the atrocious officiating that helped UConn get by Washington last year in the Sweet 16. They didn't deserve it. It was bad officiating and it directly led to a regulation Duke win. Period.

** And to be clear I don't care if MOODY or Stinger make excuses. They've shown the capability to be rational basketball fans and not just be a Duke dickrider like ^ this piece of shit..

I would understand your argument if 2.4 were put up and duke ended up getting 4.4 on the play from a clock freeze,late start or something. then you could argue clemson got screwed but an error of putting the wrong ammount of time on the clock doesn't win or lose a game. clemson knew 4.4 was on the clock, so did duke and clemson got scored on fair and square from that point.

You and that video suggest clemson stopped playing after 2.8 because thats how much time should have been left which is not the case. Right or wrong, everyone knew 4.4 was on the clock. Clock control is not an exact art yet. This happens every game, sometimes they notice and sometimes they don't sometimes they notice and still get it wrong. Just like Hamilton's travel I threw out there that they didn't notice. Refs are humans.

In the Oklahoma Texas Tech game there was x ammount of time on the clock but the clock started late then stopped and started and add an extra few seconds to the play ALL DURING THE PLAY. Do you see the difference?

Travelling calls cannot be looked at. Time issues can be looked at on the screen. Not analagous.

No shit champ. The bungled timekeeping gave them extra time. Obviously with extra time it's a bit easier to score. That's not excusing the horrible defense by Clemson it's just stating the truth. Just like in my UConn-UW example it doesn't change the fact that UW let Rashad Anderson get off a 3 playing matador defense. That doesn't mean the process to get to that point was correct.

For fucks sake even the ACC admitted with a press release the refs fucked up. Why can't you?

^^I've admitted it was a fuckup but i'm not admitting that it gave duke the game. A great play still had to be made and still could have been made even without the extra time is what i'm saying. This was no change of possession, foul, ft opportunity, ball advancement or anything. simply 1.6 seconds too much. They went to the board because the game obviously wasn't over and time had expired. They put however much time they felt should have been in the short time they looked at it. Soemtiems thye put a little too less this time they put a little too much. Its not an exact science.

im also admitting fuckups happen in every game and its just every so often that a bunch of haters put pressure on the conference to make a press realease. If he missed the shot there would have been no press release.
