Leaving work in a half-hour for a weekend in Breckenridge suckers!
Should be at the Brewery around 4:00 PM MST. Will spend the weekend cuddling Breckenridge 471 small batch bombers.....and maybe my wife if she's lucky.

About fucking time.

Quote :
"I'm still saving my 2005 Fuller's Vintage. I'm not sure when the right time to pop that cap will be...suggestions? I didn't keep it this long just to ruin it by drinking a year too early...so I can wait if need be."

You should've bought a few, and then opened them as the years go by. It will be excellent now, but probably even better in a few more years.

If any one is coming out to Denver in October for the GABF, let me know. I am in Denver and know the area pretty well. You can stay at my house for free if you wanna be a DD, hehehehe.

I got some DFH Festina Peche. Not horrible, but not worth 8.99 for 4.

^if you in to sour beers as i am, i think its pretty good. the sourness is just right for easy drinking. i wish my homebrew sour ale had gotten that sour.

i cant wait to try my mikkeller beer geek breakfast and jolly pumpkin luciernaga.

has anyone seen struise pannepot around anywhere? im looking for a bottle or two.

drinking some Inversion IPA from Deschuttes, a brewery from Bend, OR. It's pretty good - a very malty nose that bothered me a bit, and it's very amber in hue for an IPA, IMO.

But the taste is all there. and 6.8% ABV. Do you NC guys get Deschuttes?

Where is the closest I can get Stone and Russian River brews? I know I can order them, but that's a pain and kinda expensive.

well, I'm in san diego for the week of thanksgiving to visit my little brother, and I made it out to Stone Brewing in Escondido, and then went to Pizza Port for dinner.

I would highly recommend dropping in at Stone if you're ever in the area. they have an amazing facility - honestly the best brewery I've ever seen, and a ton of beers on tap in their taproom. The tour was nothing to write home about, but they did do a nice tasting at the end, which included Oaked Arrogant Bastard. I was disappointed that I couldn't get older bottles of the Vertical Epic series.

Pizza Port - great pizza, and I really liked the Swammi (?) IPA I tried, but that was the only one I had room for. It had been a long day of drinking at that point

Just picked up a Deschutes Brewery "The Abyss". It's currently the #7 beer in the world on the BeerAdvocate charts.

Will update when I try it...

Anyways, I just picked up a sixer of Bell's Hopslam at Peace Street...should be delicious. If we win tonight I may have to break out a Stone Double Bastard or Southern Tier Choklat fresh from my trip up to PA

So I just found out that I have to go back to Brussels next month for a security conference and want to hit up the Delirium Cafe (http://www.deliriumcafe.be/) again since they have over 2000 beers available. With such a wide selection and not being a beer sophisticate, what are some must-have beers that I should try?
