About fucking time.
Quote : | "I'm still saving my 2005 Fuller's Vintage. I'm not sure when the right time to pop that cap will be...suggestions? I didn't keep it this long just to ruin it by drinking a year too early...so I can wait if need be." |
You should've bought a few, and then opened them as the years go by. It will be excellent now, but probably even better in a few more years.

drinking some Inversion IPA from Deschuttes, a brewery from Bend, OR. It's pretty good - a very malty nose that bothered me a bit, and it's very amber in hue for an IPA, IMO.
But the taste is all there. and 6.8% ABV. Do you NC guys get Deschuttes? 8/24/2007 9:36:39 PM |

well, I'm in san diego for the week of thanksgiving to visit my little brother, and I made it out to Stone Brewing in Escondido, and then went to Pizza Port for dinner.
I would highly recommend dropping in at Stone if you're ever in the area. they have an amazing facility - honestly the best brewery I've ever seen, and a ton of beers on tap in their taproom. The tour was nothing to write home about, but they did do a nice tasting at the end, which included Oaked Arrogant Bastard. I was disappointed that I couldn't get older bottles of the Vertical Epic series.
Pizza Port - great pizza, and I really liked the Swammi (?) IPA I tried, but that was the only one I had room for. It had been a long day of drinking at that point 11/24/2007 1:02:05 AM |

So I just found out that I have to go back to Brussels next month for a security conference and want to hit up the Delirium Cafe (http://www.deliriumcafe.be/) again since they have over 2000 beers available. With such a wide selection and not being a beer sophisticate, what are some must-have beers that I should try? 1/24/2008 9:47:16 AM |
