if you havent heard it yet, download Frog Eyes - Bushels. Great song. My favorite Mercer vocal performance ever.

And the Xiu Xiu - Ceremony cover is excellent. Best cover i've heard in forever.

This Field disk is pretty good. Deserving of the hype. So far I can pick out the samples of "A Paw In My Face" to Lionel Richie's "Hello" and "Mobilia" to Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Philadephia."

i'm not sure why the new panda bear is being hyped so much. there's a couple of good songs, but all his vocals sound like he's singing in the back of a cathedral.

OH SNAP!

anyways, the Flaming Lips are appearing on the Spiderman 3 soundtrack with a song titled "Spiderman vs. Muhammad Ali." There's no way it can live up to that hype.

^yeah, I really dig that blonde redhead album. New Wilco is definitely a summerteeth type throwback, which I like.

I keep going back to the Good, The Bad and the Queen album too. Damon Albarn writes some pretty fucking awesome pop songs. And even though it isn't 2007, that mates of state is so good.

The blonde redhead took a while for me to digest

after letting it settle for a bit, i gave it another listen, and if i was constructing this list, the rank would have changed after going back to it

probably up at least 2 ranks
