you're right about the game being high scoring... so far neither defense is much of a match for the others offense at all, and that happening in the beginning of the game usually means a lot of points are gonna get put up as the defenses are only gonna get tired and slower as the game progresses

I think the higher ranked team gets to choose which uniforms they will wear, and they probably chose to be in the lighter colored uniforms so as not to overheat.
