Paul Hewitt was upset because the students were getting on a player who was coming back from academic ineligibility, which is fair game 100% in my book. Don't know about Greenberg, but tomake excuses when you get beaten by a team who is 33.333% in conference games and your team constitues 50% of their conference wins makes you to be a crybaby.

i was actually surprised Seth didn't get T'd up.. the VT games i've seen.. he gets pretty frustrated and angry when his team is dragging.. I guess he managed it well enough to not piss the refs off.

it was likely just one fan giving him a lot of hell.. like it usually always is..

he didn't go into detail.. but said we were one of the worst fans he's encountered..

then again.. we are one of the few(if there are others) teams who actually sits students behind the visitors bench.. so that may have had something to do with the exaggeration..

Everytime a coach complains about being harassed in RBC, it's like a badge of honor. The RBC crowd was apparently so hostile, Seth forgot to put on the full court press.

those surveys are suspect, but that's not the point. maybe i'm missing something, but as a current student, i wouldn't come even close to calling us a commuter school.. unless you count offcampus apartment complexes as commuting (which i just realized he may have done).

IIRC we're in the mid 20's in engineering schools in the country. that's not so impressive that it should be shoved in anyone's face, but it's a bit of a stretch to say that we have no curriculum.

not to mention the numerous companies in the region that regularly give high marks to engineers coming out of state (in reference to him mentioning state grads not being able to do their work).

i dont see what the problem is here...dont we want the other schools to hate coming here? isnt that the point of the student section. Fuck dook and their "creativity" rather make the other team cry than laugh. And why are they talking smack about our students seating all around the court...they wish they could. Shit everyone wishes they could sit like us.
