I just joined http://www.couponmom.com/ yesterday, it'll be cool to see how much it ends up saving me.Another good way to save money on groceries is the farmer's market. Their tomatoes always seem to be like half the price that they are in a grocery store.

ahahahahaI want to know when Lowes Foods is going to triple again! They are so much closer to me than HT! ^Lowes Foods double/triples internet coupons. Also if you have a coupon for a free product (such as a can of cat food), the cashier has to input price of the can (like $.50) and then the coupon doubles. So you are getting a free can plus an overage of $.50 [Edited on June 2, 2008 at 8:54 AM. If you live in/near Wilson, the Harris Teeter in Wilson (I guess there is only one) is having triple coupons for 7 days (ends next Wednesday I believe)its about an hour from RaleighLast year, a Harris Teeter in Fayetville had triples for 7 days and then the next week all the Harris Teeter's had triples (just for 3 days)Lets hope history repeats itself!

6/22/2008 5:17:33 PM
The other day they had buy one get one free robitussin at Rite Aid (the rite aid knock off) and I happened to have a coupon for the price of one bottle of robitussin. Walked out paying nothing and had two bottles.

Where can I buy last Sunday's paper?
6/24/2008 7:47:17 PM
some drug stores might still have it or you can try a dollar store.
6/25/2008 3:20:11 PM
I am getting back into the couponing mood again. reorganized by binder yesterday. time to go recycling bin diving to get some extra inserts
6/25/2008 3:40:04 PM
$44 on $88 of food from HT on my second try..The best part is the interesting/new food you get to try
6/25/2008 5:41:20 PM
i think i might be misunderstanding the double coupon thing....let's say i have 2 identical coupons for $1 off something (like $1 off General Mills cereal or something)does this mean i can use both of those coupons on that one product, essentially getting $2 off???
7/7/2008 5:56:44 PM
I think it's more like each coupon is worth 2.00 instead. Or maybe sometimes if you only have one of the coupons you can still have it applied to each box of cereal.
7/7/2008 6:19:07 PM
You take the value shown on your coupon and double it. Your 75 cent coupon is now worth $1.50. Most stores will not double coupons with a face value of a dollar or more. You can use one coupon per item you buy. HT will allow you to use multiple coupons for the same product on a 1 coupon per 1 product ratio.
7/7/2008 6:22:02 PM
^do they automatically double?i don't think i've ever noticed them on the receipt
7/7/2008 7:46:46 PM
HT and Food Lion automatically double, not sure about other stores though. Food Lion just started a few months ago with doubling.
7/7/2008 7:49:29 PM
Lowes Food doubles manufacturer's coupons up to $0.99 in value. so a $0.75 coupon is worth $1.50 but a $1.00 coupon is worth $1.00I haven't heard that Food Lion doubles.
7/7/2008 7:55:26 PM
Food Lion does now. They just started up. I wish I had one closer to me...
7/8/2008 8:14:21 PM
is it worth it to buy coupons off ebay?
7/8/2008 9:39:43 PM
any stores still triple? for those that do, what are the restrictions?if none triple, which one has the best doubling policies?
7/8/2008 10:18:35 PM
lowes foods and harris teeter
7/8/2008 10:24:44 PM
^^ Some stores do triple... I asked Sue Stock (Coupon person for News and Observer) about tripling, and all she said was that it's hard to know when a store will do it.On a coupon-related note, I used two coupons today and got two big bottles o' Pert Plus for 34 cents (tax).
7/8/2008 10:43:15 PM
yo hook me up with some bars of soap and deodarant...how much can i get for 5 dollars worth?
7/8/2008 10:46:41 PM

7/9/2008 11:00:07 AM

7/13/2008 1:43:21 PM
didn't read the whole thread, but you know what drives me nuts?when people pronounce coupons as 'KYU-PONS' instead of 'KOO-PAWNS'do these same people pronounce a two door coupé as 'KYUP', or pronounce coup d’état as 'KYUP d’état'?
7/13/2008 2:28:13 PM
I went out and got another paper todayWorth it for the $2.25 Electrasol and $1.50 Bertolli coupons
