As I've said repeatedly, there are other ways to respond. Most likely, giving this guy a few minutes would have solved the problem.

Actually, it's one of the most open forums I know of. Besides, forum rules aren't enforced by cops with tasers.

Before the video even starts he is nearly escorted out of the hall for jumping in front of someone else who was asking a question. The only reason he wasn't bounced was because Kerry told them to let him stay, though he was obviously being watched.

Then, when you watch the video, the people in charge of the event cut his microphone and have the cops go to escort him out. The kid without a doubt staged the event to try and draw some kind of reaction with the video edited to specifically drum up "fuck the police" sentiment.

Im all for the taser. Its the adult equivalent to a spanking. The kid was acting like a child and got his spanking, just with volts and not battons. He should be thankful for that.

This kid was def. up to something. There is another video of it, and even before he starts talking there are already two cops right on him.

Can we both agree that if the kid would have walked out with the cops in the beginning he would not have been tasered, or probably arrested. Can we agree on that?

^^where in the constitution (which clearly has too many rules for an anarchist like yourself) are you entitled to act like an asshole and not deal with any consequences?

he got to say his piece...he got more time than anybody else did...but that wasnt good enough for him

everything leading up to the tasing is irrelevant.

what is bothersome is that he was cuffed and was being restrained by 5 or 6 cops. yeah, he was yelling, so what. he's cuffed, on the ground, and covered with cops. why tase him? you people keep defending the cops actions leading up to the tasing. okay, great. defend the tasing

thats completely false

if he had left on his own he wouldnt have been tased or even gotten any more force than the cops holding his arms while they walked out

it was his actions and the scene he made that led up the tasing...its completely relevant

yep. youre not supposed to use the taser when the perp is already subdued. whats gonna be bad for the cops is that it is going to be argued that the cops used the taser as a sort of punishment which is definitely a no-no.

he was not cuffed. He was still trying to keep his one arm free. They struggled with him for a bit, before one says "tase him", then the child started to get worried.

Emce, that would be me. Its the instant attitude adjustment. It gets your attention and does no lasting damage.

why was he on the ground? why hadnt he just walked out on his own? cause he's trying to start shit...and only idiots would try to start shit with 20 cops around

and its hard to see whats going on towards the end when they tase him...obviously its a much clearer video at the beginning

If, after a considerable amount of talking, he wouldn't leave or settle down, I could perhaps accept physically removing him.

honestly if it was a black dude who had shoved two cops, he would've gotten it a lot worse

but OH NOES THEY TOUCHED MY ARMS, I'M GONNA ACT LIKE A TOUGH GUY

defend what? Acting like an idiot gets you into bad situations?

Guess what, I have never had to be forced out of a place by cops, fought back, been forced to the ground resting their orders....you know why? And Ive never been tasered either. I guess im just lucky these rogue bad cops skip over my business when they are bored and looking to taser citizens.

Perhaps near the end, but he hardly did anything when they grabbed him.

the consequences for his actions should be doled out by a court. yeah, he was resisting, BUT THEN, they got him on the ground.

it's not a cops fucking job to be handing out consequences for a perps prior actions.

watch the video again. right before they tase him he is doing nothing close to what could be described as "violently resisting". he turns around, looks at the cop and says dont tase me. then BAM, tased.
