good call. I really think they are a good point guard/good shooter away from serious contention.

I like the Rockets a lot...I just hate watching games on their court

Even in HD, it always looks dark and dull compared to most arenas

Compare the two TNT games tonight, and the arena in Oakland looked ten times brighter

the Bobcats are currently 13th out of 15 Eastern Conference teams yet they're only 2 games out of the playoffs...gotta love playing in the East

8th New Jersey 20 29 0.408 18.5
9th Chicago 20 29 0.408 18.5
10th Indiana 20 30 0.400 19.0
11th Philadelphia 20 30 0.400 19.0
12th Milwaukee 19 31 0.380 20.0
13th Charlotte 18 31 0.367 20.5

I was really thinking this was the year for the bobcats. there's a lot of games left. I don't believe the pacers, bucks or the sixers are better. So if they can make a run and a few of these teams continue to be bad. . . .

That road-heavy finishing schedule will make it incredibly tought

You have to keep rooting for them, even if they do make it, they'll get swept by Boston or Detroit

But it would be probably better in the long run to get another top 10 pick before we start trying to be a real contender

swept by Boston?? the same Boston team that we whooped by 12 in the Garden and should've beaten at home?

you've got a point....but are you really giving them a chance in a series against boston or detroit

yeah, they did blow the favorable part of their schedule.

i'm not giving them a chance against Detroit, but I'm damn sure giving them a chance against Boston

in the 2 games this year versus Boston, Boston hasn't really shown me anything...and they also have about as much playoff experience as the Bobcats...Pierce hasn't been in awhile, Garnett can't get out of the 1st round, and Allen has the most experience...Nazr has an NBA title and J-Rich has played in the playoffs...Boston just hasn't scared me since I've seen Charlotte play them twice

Detroit is another story...they are too deep and experienced

no chance against boston, regular season is nothing compared to playoffs

Carmelo had a helluva night tonight.

Remember when people were starting to think the power had started to shift from the Western conference well damn they are wrong. Since then, the lakers, nuggets, rockets, warriors, blazers, shit even the kings have improved.

who thought the power had shifted? sure, everyone gave the east more credit since Boston got significantly better, but everyone knew the east was a 3 team conference, with Boston, Detroit and Cleveland. Other than that, the conference is pure shit. Especially when there's a good chance that 2 sub-.500 teams will make the playoffs.

Orlando's a solid team too...I put them ahead of cleveland right now.

I've seen them play in person this year and several times on TV...Howard is obviously a beast, but Turkoglu has turned into a hell of a player as well.

I think they'll end up as the 3 and 4 seeds, though I wouldn't rule Toronto out from making a late run...they've got one of the easier second half schedules and Jose Calderon is playing like a man possessed lately.

my bad damnit, you didn't think the power had shifted. but a ton of the pundits wrote an article about how the east may be getting their power back.

I'm not sure if I think Orlando is for real. They're a good team, but I think the Cavs are better.

Melo had 49 yesterday btw

76% shooting, 3/3 from the arc, 8/8 from the line

^orlando doesnt really have experience but Howard is obviously a beast, Rashard Lewis is a solid player, Jameer Nelson is a nice distributing PG who can knock down the shot, Turkoglu is having a career season...don't forget about the Raptors either

what difficulty...probably pro, right?

I try to keep the rosters as accurate as I can...otherwise my incredible GM skills make it too easy for me to compile the best team in the league

Hopefully Chandler for a while...fuck the Hornets

all-star...i had to make moves to unload mcinnis and nazr and may and harrington

but my regular arcade roster has boykins, etc (current accurate)

Brad Miller got stitches and missed a game the other day cause at a Superbowl party he "cut his hand washing dishes"

I was playing at the one above all star but moved down since I was losing 2/3 of my games

Miller was killing it before that cunty injury

He has two 20/20 games in the past week or so

I'm pissed as shit I have to miss the Lakers game monday...that was probably the game I was looking foward too the most this year. Kobe always dominates and we always eek out a win...best of both worlds

KG out of all star game

Rasheed replaces him

I'm kinda surprised, since his name hadn't really been talked about during the selection process

I would have thought Turkoglu or Ray Allen

No complaints here tho; I love me some Sheed

Well Allen is actually more of a 2, but you're right, it does make more sense to add another big man with KG out...they would have had only Jamison, Bosh and Howard to play the 4 and 5 if they didn't

fuck the refs and their obsession with riding kobe's dick...man he is a great player but i swear to god he got at least 8 completely COMPLETELY bullshit calls tonight

all he does is run into somebody and yell "HEEEEEEEEAAAAAAYYYYYY" and the refs just flock to his nuts

I don't like a lot of the calls that are made since they've changed the hand check rule.. I guess I enjoy the high scoring that results from it. But the fouls slow the game down

there was one play in particular (among many) that stood out to me...McInnis and his pathetic ass, was actually doing a decent job of guarding Kobe since Wallace was out and J-Rich was playing a bigger player (btw McInnis doing a decent job defending Kobe = holding him to 30)

well Kobe lowered his head and headbutted McInnis' chest lightly...no call...then McInnis put one hand on Kobe and had the other away from him (legal defense)...Kobe ran forward yelled HAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEY and obviously got the call

also it didnt help that early in the first it was 12-9, Lakers in the lead, and Gasol was 5-5 from the field

I'll give you that Kobe gets his fair share of calls, but all superstars in the NBA do. At least most of the time there is a 50/50 chance the player got fouled, unlike in the ACC where shit is insanely retarded.

From the box score, Kobe shot 9 FT, he averages 8.7 per game, so I don't think you got jobbed too much. But I'm sure it gets annoying.

Speaking of Kobe; arguably the best player in the world, along with LeBron; did anyone see his shot yesterday. A running left handed 10 ft hook shot over Shawn Marion. Talk about awesome.

i consider kobe the best player in the league and like i said, mcinnis did a surprisingly decent job of defending him...and also he hit his first three 3pt attempts so i cant completely fault him

but i expect kobe to get calls...vujacic and farmar were getting that type of calls too, which might be ok if j-rich would get those calls

also all those damn lakers fans in charlotte were annoying!

Man, the Warriors would give anyone bad blood pressure. They were down big at half, and they came back from way back to beat the Wizards last night. Amazing.

^Never thought he'd be having scoring nights on a consistent basis like he's been having, but I always thought he had a good opportunity to be a decent player in the NBA. Good size, adequate athleticism, and a great shooter. I'm surprised to see him now because I had forgotten all about him...seems like its been about 5 or 6 years since he was torching us in the ACC.
