Vettel: Congratulations on the youngest winner of Formula One! I didn't think you would make it to the top of the podium so soon! Raikkonen: I know you always make the fastest lap in many races.. But you haven't won the race for long time... WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? Do I get to see you on the top of the podium at next Singapore GP? Hamilton: I hate your driving style. Your driving style is very very dangerous, and many drivers think so, too. How many times did you put other drivers in danger? You pushed Glock onto the grass area..etc. Being aggressive is fine, but it shouldn't be allowed to put drivers in danger. Kubica&Alonso: You guys did a good job from 11th to 3rd (Kubica) and from 8th to 4th (Alonso). Alonso, where are you going next season? BMW? Honda? or stay in Renault?
The next race is Singapore GP, the first night race! Then, JAPANESE GP! I will be there!!!

Ferrari press release to say they technically won
anyway wow what a race for Vettel. I was praying like hell that nothing would happen in those last laps. I loved when he said we had the balls to go out today and win during the post race interview. Classic.
new favorite driver?
and what the hell is going through his mind getting ready to go to Red Bull Renault now? Hmmmm.......... I will bet that won't happen next year.
Hamilton I will admit did look a little aggressive with Glock. But I still feel like he will win the appeal next Monday. 9/14/2008 8:38:58 PM |

that's kind of why racing is racing and not "playing it safe on the streets" .. i agree nobody should be able to slam drivers into walls or anything..but being a little ballsy is hardly a reason to have a hissy fit9/14/2008 10:15:07 PM |

to that I agree
If Schumacher was a nice guy on the track he wouldn't have won so much.
Singapore is going to be fucking awesome to watch. Lights glimmering off the cars and the exhaust flames will be visibile. Plus the glowing red brake discs too. 9/15/2008 8:27:52 AM |

^Yea, I know. Raikkonen screwed everything up! I guess the myth that Raikkonen sucks in even years is very very true. And Ferrari really needs to stop using the digital signal. It has messed up many races.

honestly i wasn't upset he won. It is good to have a bunch of different winners in F1. It is one of the things the sport lacked BEFORE he came along.
I think Hamilton has got to be the favorite now. It is all just going his way. His team has not made mistakes this year. Ferrari has had too many. Still one DNF could change this. I think that anybody who has the idea of F1 based on the Schumacher years will be shocked to see what 8 different drivers win in a season, 3 new winners, a really tight points race, Ferrari screwing up pit stops and so on. Really who said F1 would suck when Schumacher left? 10/2/2008 9:28:22 AM |

I got back from the race a couple hours ago. The race was very exciting! Actually luckily I got in the paddock for a little and got to see Raikkonen, Kubica, Alonso, Massa, Bourdais, Heidfeld, Wurz, and Mario Theissen within 3 meters (about 10ft?) of range!!!!
I didn't take pictures of all of above, but I will upload pictures in my facebook this week!
P.S. I didn't think Bourdais should get a penalty against Massa. 10/12/2008 12:26:48 PM |

massa shouldn't have made that move, but thats the same kind of driving hamilton has been doing all year, everyone else has just gotten out of his way to avoid a collision. none of the other drivers like his driving. his penalty was certainly deserved on the first corner, although perhaps keikki should have gotten one too.

alright the conspiracy continues as Hamilton gets called for random car checks during qualifying. I mean come on.
anyway Hamilton leads Ferrari and the FIA by enough that I am starting to feel if he just drives 'normally' he should win. Just don't try, just drive and its his.
Ferrari needs one more fuckup to be done.
Kubica might heed my advice to Hamilton and if the other two screw up badly he could finish 2nd in the points 10/17/2008 4:12:34 PM |
