the officiating team for this game should be fired tomorrow. poor/missed calls on both ends, and just generally poor game management affecting the momentum of the game.


the examples
- missed a blatant player control foul to send the clemson player to the floor
- giving Roy a timeout 3 seconds after Clemson brings the ball inbounds
- way too many checks of the monitor in order to see obvious things, allowing both teams free timeouts, but generally fucking the game momentum.

i find it hard to believe that Clemson fouled twice as many times in the game

That was the biggest choke since NC State Vanderbilt

Meaning that we were up like 10 points with 3 minutes left in the game and lost. Clemson had the same scenario tonight.

5^ I remember watching that game ten years ago. If I recall,they actually played the last minute and a half with 4 players, and two of the remaining 4 had 4 fouls and the commentators said that playing with 3 isn't possible and results in forfeit, but I never looked that rule up.

Clemson missed the front end of a one-and-one that would have wrapped up the game, no reason to comment on anything else than that, FT's have cost them a sweep of UNC, pretty embarassing, even for Clemson

Its true that UNC had a shitload more FTs than Clemson, but UNC hit 86% of their free throws, if Clemson had hit the same percentage of theirs, there wouldnt have been an overtime

^ best part was clemson led by 15 late in the 2nd half despite unc only shooting you know 29 more foul shots then clemson aka having every clemson starter with 4 fouls (i'm not being one of those people who think the refs weren't fair, they clearly were without a doubt)

hopefully clemson begins to lose the rest of their season games now like they typically do (they will somehow beat us though I'm sure).

You're absolutely right. Carolina getting to go to the line 14 times and Clemson only going 4 in regulation + 0T1 cost Clemson the game. I wouldn't call that embarassing though.
