I think you can play it with someone else who has unlocked it already. Otherwise you have to beat the campaign. I'd play it with it you if you want to.

Have to beat the single player to unlock it. You may be able to play it cooperatively with someone else who has unlocked it.

seedless what is your advice for the zombie level? i only played 2-3 times...think i got to level 4...my strategy was to try and kill the first few waves with melee attacks and save pistol rounds...then i'd buy a rifle and clear the stairs...should i actually wait on clearing the stairs since the zombies can come in the upper windows too? whats in the door that says HEL| on the first floor? Is it worth it to rebuild the barriers?

you can play zombies as long as you get invited by someone who beat the game even if you didnt

We got to level 26 last night... Opened Hell door and all four of us (multiplayer coop xbox live) managed to get a Ray gun. We were doing good with 2 watching the door and the other 2 watching the windows and wall. The only reason we didnt go further was bc I died on the stairwell in the Hell room and when someone revived me, they accidently opened the stairwell which resulted in complete chaos. Had a last stand by the grenades on the top floor but it was too much. Fun as shit though, but on level 25 and up the damage on zombies is VERY minimal (a whole clip to the head to kill just one)

Call of Duty 4 was like this as well, and it seemed like it was just something that got overlooked in Cod4. Chances are Treyarch didn't think to change it either.

^^^They were damn sure aware of it. There were online "petitions" and a whole bunch of complaints once people figured out you could only play 1 person per xbox for system link and Activision/Infinity Ward came out and said, "Sorry 'bout your luck, it's not changing."

At least they gave us co-op campaign this go round.

^If you plan to play online, Xbox tends to have better support and a better overall structure.

Also, playstation controlers are shit for FPS games due to the looseness of the sticks... well, actually, they aren't that loose, I guess a better phrasing would be that the neutral zone in the center of each stick-area is too large. And that's still a horrible way of phrasing it.

Feels like using the M14 from CoD4, only with less recoil and a bit more mobility. And I loved the M14 in Cod4.

Then again, I also haven't played on someone's live account at (or even near) max level yet, so there might be an even better one.

i still feel like it just takes too many rounds to bring someone down. I have ran into countless times where i'll have the M1 and i pump and entire clip into the enemy's gut and they still won't go down and i'll die due to running out of ammo.

i hate when people do the one on castle, headquarters and it never spawns on that site. so 4 people on your team are under the map in that tiny location while everyone else fights an uneven battle all the way in the other corner.
