DID YOU READ MY POST ABOUT BIG BABY

OF COURSE NOT, YOU NEVER DO

Was the guy you posted playing in the Champions League? Because that was my point about Davis, he was a member of a world champion team and he looks like a truck driver.

I don't consider baseball players athletes anymore then pool players are athletes. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

so is that a scientific fact or just your opinion? Yes it takes skill to hit a baseball just like it takes skill to hit a pool ball but its not physically demanding the way football is.

there was a good thread a few months back about how hard hitting a baseball was, comparing it to stopping a penalty shot or something

that would be a good thread for the soccer diehards to read

so how do you people judge what a better sport is
how much you get hit?
how many points you get for scoring?

im still not sure

You mean like jogging to the plate and thats about it? There are plenty of fat baseball players. With how much they get paid they should be able to be Olympic sprinters. Thats why i don't really consider them athletes. Its pathetic how slow they are.

Because i don't like baseball and i don't have the SKILL it takes to play baseball. I'm in good enough shape to play. Exactly why i don't play pool. I don't have the SKILL it takes.

you have a right to an opinion, but let me tell you this, you're a fucking idiot

i play all kinds of sports, some organized some just with friends
and as overall soccer is extremely demanding
tackle football is obviously the most violent with soccer being 2nd
in soccer there are slide challenges, and people tripping your feet while you go full speed
i always have the worry of breaking my legs in the back of my mind while playing soccer
and ive seen many terrible injuries in my time
so for you to say soccer is not that demanding is just laughable

Well if i said soccer was bad its my opinion. What i meant to say was that i don't like soccer but i can respect the athletes for their cardio endurance. Can you admit football or hockey is more physically demanding then soccer?

What is your definition of physically demanding? Because if you're playing soccer at any level competitively, it's very demanding in my sense of the term.

Same thing for football except you are trying to hit each other. Soccer is not the 2nd most violent sport i can probably name 3 or 4 sports more violent then soccer.

Entertainment wise

soccer > football > basketball > hockey> tennis > baseball > golf ..... well

sometimes football > soccer here... only when the panthers play though or when its play off time.

... this is just my preference so fuck you if you dont agree

in some ways of course its more demanding
its more violent, and for the very brief amount of time that they're actually on the field and playing it is very demanding
how do you compare that to 90 minutes of continuous demanding play
the fact is all these sports will leave you exhausted & bruised

I'm sure this is real serious. But I'd be willing to bet there are less actual homosexuals in baseball than pretty much every sport. I heard 3 out of 10 college athletes are gay, but I'm pretty positive that's like 95% of the women's softball, basketball, and soccer teams. I wonder if there are stats on homosexuals by sport.

if i'm playing sweeper and my center forward has the ball near the opponent's goal, i'm not going to be running...if there is a corner kick i'm not going to be constantly running...if theres a goal kick i'm not going to be constantly running...if the ball goes out of bounds i'm not going to be constantly running...if i'm a forward and the ball is threatening my team's goal i'm not going to be running...quit acting like you guys run non stop for 90 minutes

Soccer players on average run about 5 miles per game. That's not really an easy thing to do over the course of 90 minutes while you're also playing a sport.

75 minutes of walking + 15 minutes of slight sprinting is just cardio. Soccer doesn't leave you bruised and beat up the way football does. There is a reason pads are required.
