liverpools win this weekend = glorious
i about nutted my pants when kuyt knocked that goal in

Unfortunately, looks like skrtel is out for 2 months minimum. Agger is probably my favorite player on the squad so Im really pumped that hes getting a shot again after that injury. He has way more 'skill' than Skrtel or Carra, in terms of passing, shooting and ball control up the field. Should be nice to have him on the pitch again. Just worried hes going to be out of shape or rusty. We still have Sam Hyp I guess.

Well Im done being biased

now that rooney is on fire(scored 2 international goals today), its only inevitable that he breaks his foot within a week or two...

Could Juande Ramos be any worse?

No.

Will he get sacked?

No.

Will Spurs be relegated?

Yes.

damn, Hull is unstoppable right now

I'm watching this Blackburn-Boro game (don't ask why) right now, did anybody else see Tuncay get robbed on that offsides call for that awesome goal he scored in the first half?

Oops I thought they played West Ham today. But they beat them last weekend, so the point still stands.

Wow, sacking Ramos HURTS. Dude was one of the top 5 paid managers in the WORLD.

I don't know if old 'arry Redknapp is going to be able to pull Spurs out of the fire. In fact, if I were a betting man, I'd bet against it.

Too bad they cant sack Daniel Levy....

^Yeah, I read a week ago that it would cost 15mill (pounds) to sack him. I realize they were somewhat even after all their sales, but man, they drop a lot of loot.

no way. they cant come back and win every game they are tied and/or losing like the way they have been for an entire season. plus their defense looks real shaky. unless chelsea lose every player they have to injury this season, it will come down to them or man utd again. the only way they would win the epl is if they got knocked out of the champs league early, cause rafa cant keep this team composed for all competitions, hes shown that every year..

also, does anyone else notice liverpool is slowly turning into a la liga team? i watched them in the champs league matchup against atl madrid and i couldnt tell which team had more spanish players

yes let's overlook ending the 86 game unbeaten streak at the Bridge

because I'm sure if United did it, it wouldn't be a big deal

I also said legit title contenders, not that they would win it

That record was more of a weight than something for Chelski to be proud of. How many times did we see Chelsea slow down and grind out 1-0 wins just to save it?

It was Chelsea's draws at home last season that lost them the title.

maybe so, but surely they deserve some credit for breaking the streak, right?

in an unrelated note, I watched some of the Villarreal-Atletico game today (which was crazy by the way) and Rossi is a baller... do any of you United fans wish he was still in Manchester? Or do you think his game wouldn't translate as well to EPL as it has to La Liga?

Rossi would've been great to have last year when Rooney went down for a bit with that metatarsal, but we honestly don't have room for him now. He'd always be a squad player at United, and as good as he is, the kid deserves better.

I like that we've got first refusal on him if Villareal ever try to sell him, but I doubt he'll play in England again - he wants to go to Italy so he gets more senior callups, and I cant say that I blame him.

[Edited on October 27, 2008 at 12:49 AM. Reason : his game was pretty good in the epl to begin with...]

Wow. Just saw the Man U game on the Review Show. Stupid Ronaldo. That's all I can say. Stupid.

His head has outgrown his talent, which is a hard thing to do because he is a very, very talented player. Not worth the trouble though.

^ agree with that. Right before winning Ballon D'or or whatever the hell it's called, he hacks down SWP and then talks back to the ref about it, then a deliberate handball. And he's winning footballer of the year? He's tw@t.
