On a first date your gona be on good behavior because you want to have a decent impression. So when i go out for the first time Im going to use a lint roller and sit up strait. Its no more deceptive then a guy opening doors the first few times you go out. You know it isn't going to continue but it is still polite and apprciated.

I hate when people are polite and proper on their first date. That automatically gives me the impression of BORING...which means thats usually the last date. I love when girls are relaxed and goofy and spontaneous. Thats what makes me want a second date

went out and ate Indian with a girl I met at a bar. as a traditional date, it couldn't have gone better. we had great conversation, great food, and enjoyed each other's company. however, I sense that she's looking for a long-term relationship, and that's the last thing on my mind. we made out the night we met at the bar, so I was expecting this "date" to be the same and more. but, she wanted to talk more than be physical, so I took that as a sign that she doesn't want me to think she's easy, and she wants us to take it slow.

any suggestions on how best to proceed and secure a hook-up but not a long-term relationship?
